The room was very clean and well appointed. The tv worked fine and was easy to navigate. There was plenty of hot water and the new fixtures were lovely. Jose, the front desk attendant, was working very hard to attend to everyone's needs in the hot weather. The AC worked fine. The bed was very comfortable and I got a good night's rest. Thank you.

The AC was a little noisy, and I found it difficult to figure out the remote. I didn't want to keep bothering Jose, so I chose to just turn it "Off" and "On", because if I left it "On", the fan blew too hard and was too loud. There could be a few area rugs around the room to "warm up" the feeling. It's nice to step out of bed onto a rug instead of the cold floor. The bath linens were adequate, but thicker, fluffier ones would really finish off that "Spa" feel that they have almost accomplished. But these are not major things. The room was lovely.

The pool was nice and clean, warm and had an area shallow enough for my almost 2 year old son.. it was a BIG bonus after we had been on the road all day. Jose, who was in the office, was super nice and welcoming.. if I'm ever in town again, I'm without a doubt staying there again!

There is nothing they could do about it, the firetruck that went by in the night blared their siren, and woke my son up.. that's not the lodges fault.

They seemed to group us dog owners together, and that was good. We could police ourselves, and didn't have to have loud single people bothering us.

The neighborhood is actually a bit better than it was about 10 years ago - when I first stayed there - but there's not much that can be done about it being in the middle of a major highway intersection. Although it did seem that the road noise didn't start too early or end too late.

The room was very clean and comfortable. There are many restaurants within walking distance, but we were there during the week and the streets rolled up at about 9:00PM. This was ok as we had an early appointment in the morning. Good water pressure with plenty of hot water. Efficient and friendly front desk and housekeeping staff. The breakfast is a true "Continental" breakfast which is fine to get something quick and go. We will definitely stay there again.

it was a quaint little spot. the pool and hotel area looked clean and well taken care of. it was a good stop on our way back north from Southern California. if we were staying in the Redding area again, this property would definitely be in the running.

the ac unit was a little loud while running

The facility was clean and the beds comfy. The front desk staff and owners were very nice and helpful. We stayed twice despite the noise and will stay again if passing through.

The noise from the air conditioning unit. You could hear everything happening outside and I was on the side where the train passed by. So other than hearing people talking on the street, and car and train noise it was a great stay.

The room was nice and clean, with a comfortable bed . The staff was kind and helpful. The pool was great on a hot summer day. The breakfast was delcious and we were close by many things.

I did not like the sounds of the ambulances coming to the hospital through the night. Luckily the airconditioner helped to drown it out. Our room had a wiggly toilet and a leaky sink and shower. Nothing bad, but it too would have been annoying if the air conditioner was not on.

Central location, helpful staff, very clean.

Someone went through my vehicle overnight but nothing missing.

It’s clean, with efficient, friendly staff. We parked the car a few feet from our room door. There was a choice of restaurants within a short block. It was very convenient as a stop over on a multi-day car trip. We didn’t use it, but it was good to have an outdoor pool. Also love the stainless steel Thunderbird backlit with changing colors. Wonder if the stone Thunderbird in the fireplace is backlit with flames in cold weather.

There was only a shower. No tub.

Jose at front desk was great. Room was clean and comfortable. Entire property looked good outside even though it is obviously an older building. New windows. Located in downtown in walking distance of several restaurants and a 24-hour donut shop.

Like just older properties the electrical outlets were in short supply and worn out. Bathroom was small.
