I liked the location Dennys was right across the street. The Zoo is about 7 min in car from here. It was a clean room, and it didn't smell all funky the way other rooms usually smell because they left the windows open for ventilation. Comfortable king size bed. Has a small fridge. Wood flooring. Outlets on both sides of the bed. Overall place looks and felt really clean.

The description says it's a hotel, but it's a motel. No elevators, there are only 6 parking spaces. if you don't come in time then you have to park in the streets, and since it's a residential area there was little to no parking spot until the next block down. No microwave.

Our room was quiet and comfortable. It included everything we needed, even a refrigerator. It took us some time to figure out how to use the television, but once we did, we had access to the channels we were interested in. Also, we had good temperature control, which was significant because the mornings were cold and foggy and the afternoons were sunny and warm.

We were worried about the local parking restrictions, but we never had to leave the parking space that was available to us upon arrival. We were able to walk to nearly every place we needed to go, and for other places, our son drove us.

I liked that it was clean and that the staff was willing to allow us into our room earlier than originally planned. The staff was also really nice and made sure to keep our room clean throughout the stay. It was small but enough for me and my partner. There was a mini fridge, a coffee pot, and television, not to mention free wifi.

The walls are much too thin for my liking and the floors above us were creaking making it slightly difficult to sleep in the evening sometimes. There’s only 5 or 6 parking spaces for the motel and parking on the street was a nightmare.

The room and the convenient nearby restaurants.

I had a parking spot, but parking was limited. The stairs to my second floor room were steep. When they did the recent remodel more consideration should have been done to prevent water damage to the bathroom floor from overspray from showering in the tub. Also a handicap rail on the tub wall would have been nice. These are suggestions as I was very satisfied and have nothing to complain about. The Berkshire has replaced my previous go to motel in San Diego.

Rooms are clean & organized. They made the bed & cleaned the room every day for 6days of our stay. Hot water was available early morning & late evening (maybe available whole day) They give u soaps, shampoos, body lotion, coffee. Overall we enjoyed our stay & exceeded our expectations. Wont mind staying here again when visiting San Diego. It's very close to restaurants, shopping, attractions ( zoo, sea world & Balboa park) Uber was like $7-12 per trip to these places. We didn't rent car

Property was clean and quiet and it felt safe even while traveling alone. Location was great as well.

Limited parking. I stayed here because it was close to a concert venue but when you get back late at night form your event, there is no parking. I had to end up parking down the street late at night. Also, check in was supposed to be at 3 but when I got there at that time, there was no one available to check me in.

My son and his wife stayed here a few months ago and highly recommended this motel. Motel is very basic but extremely clean which is a must for me when traveling. We traveled to San Diego area and Del Cornado so the location was just fine. A/C a little loud but at least it worked well. Hard to believe only 6 parking spots for hotel but we were able to find free public parking on the street. Great place to drop your bags and hit the town. Oh, can't beat the price.

The property was clean and located in a convenient area.

The only problem that I encountered was lack of parking. I did not realize this until I had already booked my room. I received a message saying that there was convenient parking near the hotel, but only six spots on the property. there is no parking on Arizona Street. I could only find it on El Cajon Blvd. I parked on the main streets near the hotel, but I was worried about my car. this is an excellent place to stay if you are using an Uber or taxi. However, it’s not convenient if you were driving.

Check in was easy and the hotel was easy to find. Walkable distance to the North Park area where there are a lot of bars and restaurants for evening entertainment.

Next to a noisy road and a/c a bit noisy. TV remote wasn't always responsive. Limited parking at the hotel but ample street parking nearby, just need to be aware of the signs about street cleaning times. Plug sockets by the bed not super compatible with my universal converter so had to do some rearranging, but small issue really.

I liked my room which wasn’t attached to the main hotel. There was a sofa and 2 televisions. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. Carlos is a rock star. They provided some coffee.

Parking can be a problem, but you will eventually find a space on the street. It would be great if there were a few things to use in the kitchen. San Diego is expensive everywhere during the summer.
