After escaping a hotel downtown, Wingate and it's satff were a welcome blessing. Though it was further from my destination (San Jose State), it was in a great location for amenities/leisure. It was clean and very comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. It was quiet and secure even with homeless nearby. Parking lot was clean and open.

Only issue was that it was further from downtown, but that's why it was better. So not really compliant. Plan to stay there next time I'm in town.

I like how the hotel was situated close to many amenities and the freeway. The room had all the necessary comforts, such as a larger size fridge, and microwave available. Our room was located directly next to the side exit which made entering and leaving quick and easy. The breakfast was tasty! There was a good variety of foods available.

We were travelling with a soccer team for a tournament. I would've been nice to have a pool for the girls to swim in after the long hot days on the field. It would be nice if a bench was provided away from the exit door for smoker's to sit and relax.

Customer service was great.Room was very clean. continental breakfest was exceptionally good,well maintained.

Spooky instances with someone jingling door handle to room several times late at night.then phone in room rang afterwards with hang up when answered.inquired at front desk the following morning,apparently there was a mix up with booking with someone with the same name booked with the same room we were in for the same night but were staying for 2 nights instead of one night we were staying,overcharged for 2 nights.it all cane to light when I inquired about the spooky instance the following. Talk about a sleepless night!!!! It all got straightened out the following morning after I approached the staff at the front desk in the morning.WOW,what a experience. I'll be back,but hopefully without the drama next time I stay.

Everything was awesome, as always. The only thing I didn't understand why I paid over $200/night for a room that was advertised on Booking.com for $145/night. Not to throw Booking.com under the bus because Booking.com has been wonderful (maybe there were extra charges at the hotel); but, aside of this money-related discrepancy (which doesn't have any bearing on the quality of the excellent staff and nice accommodations that the Hampton Inn provides), the hotel was awesome to stay at. All of the super nice employees, the quality of accommodations, the ease of parking, the free breakfast, the advanced modern facilities (love the bathroom and shower), the cleanliness...awesome experience.

That I paid a one-night rate much higher (over $200/night) than what was advertised on Booking.com ($145/night)

We have stayed a few times before them changing brands and loved our stay everytime! Everything is clean, quiet and the staff are very friendly! The room was nice and clean, had lots of soaps lotions etc, and a nice size tv!

Everything was up to standards for me and my husband, wish there were more towels in the bathroom, lots of hand towels and wash cloths but only two actual bath towels.the lighting in our room was kinda dull, wish there was and overhead light, the lamps work just very dim.

Hotel is comfortable and well-located, close to the 85 highway exit. Breakfast is solidly OK. (If you want a really good breakfast, Scramblz' is close and very good.) Room is comfortable, nice TV, good beds -- firm but not hard. I have used this hotel a number of times and I know it's always a dependable choice. Microwave and fridge in the room are nice.

The ventilators do transmit sound. Had a very loud snorer echoing through the vents one evening, and have heard louder conversations do the same on other stays.

Location was very convenient; loved that there were food options in walking distance. We really enjoyed the complimentary breakfast and our room accommodations - definitely best stay we’ve had in a long time!

Nothing - we compared this stay with our previous stays at other different hotels and hands down, we absolutely thought the hotel / room / what we paid for was worth it. We’ll definitely book again!

Staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. Breakfast was very good with waffle machine, hot options like sausage/eggs, fresh fruit, assortment of drinks etc. Bed was very comfortable and room was very clean. Safeway nearby so very convenient.

fitness center had not been cleaned for several days (I went several times on different days and the mess looked the same), there were no clean towels and water dispenser didn't work.

Nearby many restaurants and grocery stores and shops. Close to the freeway. Very quiet rooms, I didn't hear next door guests at all. Breakfast were good just quick picks like fruits and packaged foods. Don't expect a large buffet for breakfast if that's what you're looking for. They have microwave and fridge! Hotels that cost more per night but have NO microwave in their rooms, unacceptable! Free parking as well, don't have to worry about paying parking per night.

None that I could think of, very satisfied with my stay here.

The staff was absolutely amazing. Very friendly, had to make some changes and the manager made it so so easy. ! Very clean. 24/7 coffee and tea for guests. Love how the lights turn brighter as you walk down the hall

Looking out my window was a homeless camp and it wasn't very pretty. But other than that no complaints!
