Location was great. Jetted tub was great. Staff was helpful and courteous when we asked questions. Internet service worked well, once we were connected.

Ethernet jack in the room would be useful, it's a lot easier than Wi-Fi. Pillows weren't my favorite. The main bedspread/blanket/comforter was one thick covering. It was very hot in San Jose that weekend, and so we were either hot (outside) or chilled (air conditioning). With only one thick covering, it was challenging to maintain a comfortable temperature in bed. We ended up turning the A/C way, way down, and sleeping with the full covering. But that't not terribly efficient...

The staff were fantastic. We were allowed to check-in before noon and allowed to stay until 2:00 pm after airline delays due to the Crowdstrike global software outage. We had the unique experience of check-in via a web-video kiosk. All other staff were friendly including maids and breakfast service. Our room was huge, clean, quiet, comfortable, and included all amenities including large screen tv, microwave, Keurig coffee, hair dryer, etc. The hotel is also walking distance from Santana Row, an upscale shopping and dining plaza, though you do need to cross a few busy streets to get there.

While the breakfast buffet had many fresh and carry-out options we had to wait ~10 minutes for the cooked options of omelets and sausage. The hotel itself felt very safe but I would not feel comfortable walking outside after dark in this neighborhood.

The location of the hotel is great. It's right near Santana Row, which is a great place to walk around if you have spare time. There is also a giant mall walking distance where you can walk around and grab a bite to eat. We had no real issues during our stay related to location / proximity to things.

No one was available at check in - had to wait quite some time for a person to pop up via video call, but there was never a live human there that we could speak with.

The staff were very nice and accommodating, the room was nice and clean. We loved the tub it was very big and spacious. The beds were also so comfortable, we slept so well. Great location, its really close to shopping centers and there are some great places to eat close by.

The only thing we were a little disappointed about was that even though our room had appliances, none of them were plugged in, but overall its a great hotel to stay we would definitely love to stay again.

Skeptical it's owned by Best western. I've had issues when staying at a Best western. That the front desk had a kiosk when an agent wasn't working. There was only one gal working day time and they mentioned someone would replace her at 11pm. I didn't see anyone till that gal came back to work. Most the staff like cleaners didn't speak English. Very frustrating. The day person spoke very clear english

The Row was a very well kept property it is modern, clean and the breakfast was good. The rooms are spacious, and the bed was comfortable.

I guess since was so modern, there wasn’t a person at the front desk and you checked in with a kiosk. I person appeared on the screen and walked you through getting registered. I’m sorry but if you are paying someone to be behind the screen, why not someone be behind the desk. This just wasn’t a very welcoming feeling for me.

Clean, easy check in

Last time I was texted/messaged the lobby and room codes. I liked this because it was convenient to check if I forgot. This time, I received print out receipt with the room code. The lobby code was given verbally. Hard to remember this as well as to bring the receipt with the door code with my everywhere. Bathtub was falsely advertised online. The bathroom didn’t look like the picture of the jetted tub.

I was very upset about the distance to Santana Row from the hotel according to bookings.com estimate. All or most listing are in miles, not feet. It was very miss leading in feet and should be changed to miles instead. It was a lot further than I wanted to be. VERY UNHAPPY!!! but still had a good time

Breakfast is excellent. There are refrigerator and microwave. Beds are very comfortable. There are free parking.

There is no safe in the room. My room is facing the street even I request the room facing the back. There are cars and street noises (construction) make it difficult to sleep in.

They have a lock pad instead of a card key, made it way easier to leave without thinking “do I have my key?” The pillows and bed were comfortable! They also have a fire stick tv

I would’ve preferred an in person interaction checking in and out. There were no issues working with a virtual assistant but I still think in person is more personal and welcoming
