This is beautiful new hotel with nice details, including a bar and restaurant on site. walking distance to the mission

The property description didn’t warn us that there’s s $45 per day valet fee to park your car there. This was upsetting to learn especially because there is free parking just a block or two away. It was also upsetting because the way they designed the hotel gives you a motel feeling if you get one of the ground rooms-/ which we did. Our window opened up to parked cars (presumably the valet cars) immediately outside our window so we kept the shades drawn the whole time. I think they are charging too much and the restaurant had good food but was over priced too.

A beautiful and immaculate hotel with impeccable service from every member of staff. The pool area is lovely and the other outside spaces are comfortable and very inviting - for example there are lights and fire pits everywhere. The food and drinks are very good and the access to other restaurants and coffee shops in the local town is fantastic too. A quick drive to the beach. What a great hotel.

Nothing. The only thing I’d say is the room rates are a bit confusing. There is an additional £25 daily resort fee to pay which wasn’t made clear to us . And the valet parking was mandatory and expensive - £45 per day. Just bear those in mind as mandatory additional charges.

The remote breakfast/coffee bar had pleasant surroundings directly across from the Mission. The breakfast/coffee food was good and staff serving food very pleasant. The breakfast/coffee bar was however way understaffed, and no one bussing or cleaning tables.

Space to drive up to the hotel was restricted - it is more of a cozy feel based on size and it reflects on getting to the front door. The facility does not feel completed (it is relatively new). View rooms with balcony looked directly out at wall and flat roof - Would appear to be planned as garden area I would hope. Even new room needed maintenance - toilet paper holder was broken, weather stripping on french doors was coming off. Alarm clock required removal of back panel and pushing button to reset to proper time.

The atmosphere was beyond our expectations. From the spacious and well-decorated lobby/bar area to the multiple outside seating areas and firepits. It is also in a great location, which allowed us to easily get around and explore different sights.

We tried both restaurants, and both were below what we expected. The price was a bit high and the food was very unimpressive. We tried each just once, and that was more than enough.

Clean, well-sized room, and generally well staffed. Pool area was appealing (wish they had food/drink wait service~they certainly had the customers to justify it. Staff was exceptionally responsive, helpful & friendly from the front desk, to the lobby bar, to housekeeping, to the valet/parking staff. My stay was at the end of 2 weeks of travel & the hotel was a bit of a random pick based on proximity to friends in the area. I would recommend it to friends based on my experience.

Room service options limited, though very responsive.

Beautiful property right in the heart of SJC. Only downside was proximity to the very busy 5 freeway, interfering with patio enjoyment. But, the side of the resort closer to the Mission was quiet and felt worlds away from any busy city nearby. The staff were very courteous and helpful, one even stopping on his way in to work to help me put a heavy scooter into the car when my husband had not been available. Very much appreciated and unexpected. I did not get his name but again send my thanks. As a disabled person, having booked a non-ADA room, I can say there were many features that made the room more comfortable for me. Nice size bathrooms, higher toilets and accessible phone chargers were a few of them. Also, the bench provided better luggage management than the collapsible luggage racks. Very nice stay, we will return.

Freeway noise when using balcony on lodge side of property. The double Queen room with balcony felt a bit small but balcony with French doors was very roomy.

The location next to many retailers, eateries, and points of interest made this one of my favorite hotels. The bed was so comfy like sleeping on a cloud, extremely clean, very culturally sensitive, decor is beautifully modern and a tribute to the historical community. I loved the shower and bamboo lemongrass body wash. Staff was helpful and pleasant. Food is top notch. Pool and Spa area was resort like. The grounds had plenty of spots to sit and read a book AND games such as cornhole and connect 4.

With such a beautiful place it’s hard to find something to complain about but I wish there was a microwave in the facility. Like maybe near guest services. Also although I didn’t watch much tv, I was surprised to not have access to the BRAVO network.

I did go to Happy hour and the bartender did not tally the our receipt accordingly. I had to ask someone to make the adjustment. Also I chose the Justin wine which was not discounted for happy hour. It would have been nice if he informed me. I would have ordered the house wine instead.

Sorry, I typed in the wrong message in the provided boxes. What I like most about my stay was the comfort and how your staff was so polite and friendly.

This was a restful, beautifully designed hotel. Our family loved relaxing by the pool, strolling around the nearby town, and eating a delicious meal inside the on-site restaurant.

Lovely room, beautiful grounds in a central location yet private, excellent service, great food. Would return and recommend without hesitation.
