The rooms were both pet friendly and clean! Hotel is extremely close to the beaches, little shops and food areas. There are two sections of the hotel the newer end has more of a modern boutique look and doesn't allow pets, the older side allows pets, but still it's very lovely. Complimentary breakfast was a nice option. The pool was also great. Worth a stay for sure !

Staff seems to be confused when you book with a third party and unsure of how the reservations work? I'm aware they can be confusing, but I'm not sure the communication between the hotel and third party site was sufficient. The hot tub seemed to be the same temp as the pool, unsure if it was working well, fun nonetheless.

The room. the city free shuttle stopped right in front. Our room was BIG. Breakfast was included. Staff very well, was gonna say the size of the breakfast room wasn’t very big but we had no problems. Finding tables might have some outside the pool room. friendly. This hotel was really excellent for its size and rating. Keurig Coffee in room & also available in office and breakfast room. The room we had was recently refurbished and in great condition. The AC kept the room nice and cool. Quiet. Had a nice workout room. The pool and jacuzzi were big enough to enjoy. We had a last minute booking because of evacuation from nearby fire and we enjoyed the cool & clean air of San Clemente. We would definitely stay there again.

I liked the proximity to the beach and other locations in the San Clemente area. It is a great spot. The staff was extremely nice and helpful.

I didn’t like how they’re supposed to be done renovating but it looks like they haven’t even started. Our room had nice carpet, ok beds. The curtains were not doubled meaning if I opened them I opened them to the world. I like to let light in without the entire hotel seeing me, there should be a second curtain. The safe in the room was malfunctioning and beeped until my husband took the batteries out. The breakfast was a brown bag with apple, granola, juice and muffins… weird.

The location was excellent for us - extremely close to our family wedding venue and lots of great shopping and dining. Staff was friendly and helpful and we loved the courtyard with its pretty fountain, and sitting on our balcony.

Some of the room furnishings were showing their age, though it appeared as if recent upgrades have begun. Our bathroom door was a bit out of square so it didn’t close well. The immediate surroundings of the inn looked slightly sketchy, but we walked the block every day to get coffee down the street and never felt unsafe.

Super close to the beach and a nice little coffee shop and restaurants- very nice and easy morning walk to the beach. Loved my spa bath tub! Clean room and lovely balcony as well, with courtyard view.

Only thing I wasn’t too thrilled about were the pillows- more square like vs rectangle and pillowcase was a bit rough against my sensitive face skin but I quickly got used to it and had a nice sleep. Also kinda wish the blanket was a bit warmer and more plush and comfy but no biggie for one night.

We stayed there for one night. This place is great,the room is big and very clean,the mattress is soft. We had a microwave and a mini fridge in the king room. The ocean is 5 min walk. Very friendly staff. There is also a very nice pool and hot tub which work until 10pm. Breakfast is from 6:30 am, there is some menu,and you choose from avocado toast (with onions), waffles, burger and yogurt, you can also take some fruits , juices, coffee and tea. I would recommend it. It has a good price during the weekdays.

The location is great. Super close to the beach and good places to eat within walking distance or a short drive away.

The rooms are out-dated (but clean). There is no sign of construction or renovations going on, so I am not sure why the bagged breakfast. That was disappointing. Also, people were smoking all around the terrace, right by the windows/doors to other rooms. I woke up both days to the smell of cigarettes.

This Little hidden gem!! Such a Wonderful stay, Verii comfortable for families!! We Stayed For a Beautiful Wedding @ the Casino excellent proximity to the Venue Space, We had 4 different rooms, All different,All Great loved the breakfast room, and the Pool Wuz enjoyed by my nephew and niece until they were exhausted!! We enjoyed the Gorgeous walk down to the Pier area Where we had a Wonderful Lunch Seaside!! All in All Awesome Visit Would definitely recommend!!

parking is best around back whole lot to park in, Parking up front very tight

The room was VERY spacious (even had a little kitchenette), the staff was friendly, and the pool was lovely! We stayed here for a wedding that was taking place down the street so we didn’t explore the area too much but it’s very beautiful and close to outlets for shopping and the beach for relaxing. Additional bonus that they don’t charge for parking like a lot of Southern California hotels do.

The bed was a little uncomfortable for my liking and there were no mirrors in the room aside from in the bathroom which made getting ready with 2 women a little challenging.

I got a great price on a summer Wed., prices went up considerably for the weekend. But still a good value compared to other motels. It's being or been renovated, very pretty, charming. I had a back corner room, very quiet. The bed and bedding of my king size bed was luxurious. There were a lot of quaint tables and sitting areas outside. And a good free breakfast, including custom waffles and avocado toast.

Nothing, everything was great, especially during the week it's a super deal.
