Location is just out of the way where you feel secluded but it’s close to downtown. Easy to get on and off the 101 if you decide to venture out for the day. Facilities were clean and I was looking for something that was budget friendly since I’m a local and to the area and just wanted to get away to another town for the night. This area caters to tourism and $300 a night is wild. This place is perfect. Staff was friendly at check in and helpful when I had questions. Plenty of rooms spread out to where I didn’t notice neighbors. Noise was nonexistent so that was perfect. Room was spacious and easy to cool during this hotter weather. I will return and recommend to anyone coming from out of town, since I am part of the industry locally.

The bedding and pillows were clean and comfortable. The bed wasn’t terrible but it was on the harder side. Woke up with my back hurting a little but this is not a deal breaker. I would still stay here over other locations.

The property was located in a calm and quiet location and the parking was great & free. The style of the building reminded me of cabins in the mountains and apartments rather than a traditional hotel, which we appreciated. The room was very, very spacious and we were in the building behind the main entrance and the staff let us know we had a nice room because the building was new and had nice and large rooms and she was correct.

Everything was great. The property felt safe.

This a nicely run hotel, modest but super clean and has everything needed for comfort. I’ve stayed several times and prefer the executive rooms which feature kitchenettes and are located in a newly renovated building in the back of the property. The staff is friendly and there’s many thoughtful amenities including little picnic tables and garden nooks, a barbecue and pool area. Its on the hotel row just a skip away from the cal poly campus. Walkable distance to restaurants as well as campus… There’s a buena vista too, seen from the little lobby.

Great room. Loved the mini kitchen setup. Big closet. Nice staff and lobby. Close to Cal Poly and walkable to places to eat.

Next to freeway and trees. Lots of noise. Trees scratched against the exterior walls all night. The shower makes an awful high pitched screech noise. No way to adjust it, just a painful experience.

They accommodated my request to have a room on a high floor with a balcony (although one of the check in clerks was adamant on giving me the room-stating they don’t guarantee anything & she wanted to call & see who confirmed my request 👀🤷🏽‍♀️, I showed her proof that I received a confirmation back stating my request had been granted as well as they gave me a 1pm check-in that I didn’t even request , which was awesome 👍🏽🙏 The facility was peaceful and quiet, there was a convenient gas station across the street, my room was roomy and clean with a balcony to get fresh air, the beds slept so comfy and the AC kept us cool. The hotel is approximately 15-30 minutes from all beaches, there was a coffee maker, fridge and microwave in room & coffee/tea offered in lobby. They have several patio settings to sit out front and free parking.

No chairs on balcony to sit on , they only had 1 ice machine on 2nd floor but it was inoperable, & I wasn’t notified that pool and jacuzzi wasn’t available until after I was booked and paid ( but they’re both being renovated so hopefully on my next stay they will be open). There was a slight sewer smell in bathroom.

This is a great place to stay if you are visiting Cal Poly SLO. The price is great. The staff was very welcoming . The beds were comfy and the room looks just as pictured. We had no noise. There is no continental breakfast but literally you can walk across the street to Apple Farms and have a good breakfast there.

When we arrived the room was cold but I turned on the heater and it warmed up rather quickly. I was surprised because the heater is in the back of the room but it worked fine.

When we were getting checked in the clerk offered us the third floor, but then the other clerk that was training her told her the third floor was not available because it was low season, but then I saw somebody staying in the third floor. I felt like it was discrimination.

I liked tea, fruit, and oatmeal available in the lobby. Very nice front desk person. Gym available for use. Convenient location, near Cal Poly. We got rooms right next door to each other. Rooms were clean and quite comfortable.

When I booked on Expedia, it stated room was 300 sq ft. However, our room seemed to be smaller.

Lovely front staff. Clean room with plenty of space and nice pool view. Soaking in the spa under the stars while the wind blew through the palm leaves was magical!

No bottled water. Breakfast was packaged doughy pastries and coffee was weak.

Very clean and all the comforts of home on the road. Will be staying there again when able

I got anxious because the website says check-in from 4 pm - 9 pm. Our tentative arrival was 9:15 pm. I was afraid we would lose our reservation. Called ahead and found we could check in anytime after 4pm and beyond 9pm.
