This was by far the best La Quinta facility of the many I've stayed in. Building is newly renovated, fresh and clean. There was amble parking and the Staff was friendly and very helpful. The rooms were updated with plenty of USB charging stations and adapters for phones and devices. Beds were comfortable, the restroom clean and modern, and the breakfast area probably one of the best I've seen for this level of hotel. Price point was higher than other La Quinta's I've stayed in but being in San Luis Obispo it's understandable - their pricing was competitive for the area. I would stay again without hesitation.

The only qualm I had was parking. You need to read the fine print to realize they charge $15/day. I missed it when booking so, needless to say, I was surprised upon billing receipt. READ FINE PRINT BEFORE BOOKING.

We liked everything, found it to be very comfortable, beds were amazing pillows were awesome. The breakfast was convenient.

Only two areas for improvement. The bathrooms have no countertop, as women who put makeup on, blow dry their hair and have many hair tools. It is very inconvenient. I suggest put in a mirror over the desk in the room versus a picture this way women could set up, their make up station over there. The breakfast is decent. However, scrambled eggs are simple to make delicious, these are very dry and overcooked both days we were there.

Location was great, just 20 minutes walk Into town, making it far enough away from any noise, but also real accessible from the 101. Easy to get to. Rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable! Breakfast was also very good. Also accidentally left behind a leather jacket which was irreplaceable. After having returned to the hotel the very next day to try and recover it, the staff after some searching, were able to locate it for us. The head housekeeper was super helpful as was the blond haired lady at the front desk. I can't thank them enough.

When we called about the jacket we had left behind, it was nowhere to be found. I was told on the telephone that new guests were in our room and that the jacket was not there, and not found by housekeeping. so it was a little frustrating that it felt as if I needed to attend the hotel in person to be taken seriously. I was then informed by the head housekeeper (who was actually extremely helpful) that there had been no new guests in the room since our stay the day before. It made me feel a little fobbed off by the front desk. On the telephone.

Front desk staff very welcoming. We arrived earlier than check-in. They took our bags and recommended some nice places to go for lunch and called me when the room was ready - nice, personal touch. The free breakfast was very good, lots of options, nice coffee and plenty of fresh fruit. The hotel is super clean and conveniently located walking distance to downtown and CalPoly. It's the second time we stayed here. Pricey for a LaQuinta but everything in San Luis Obispo is, so it's just the area. I would stay here again.

Hot tub was out of order, too bad because I've stayed here before and it's a nice rooftop hot tub next to the little pool - very relaxing wiht mountain views and gorgeous sunsets.

I recently stayed at La Quinta and had an absolutely wonderful experience. The location is perfect, making it easy to explore the city and access all the main attractions. The hotel itself is impeccably clean, and the rooms are well-maintained and comfortable. The staff at la Quinta were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay. They went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed and made me feel very welcome. Their professionalism and warm hospitality truly enhanced my experience.

The swimming pool is small, kid size

We were on the second floor right next to the gym and breakfast room. You would have thought that would have been annoying but we couldn’t hear anything in our room! Parking was a breeze and having the hotel be a little smaller made it easy to navigate. Breakfast waffles and pancakes were excellent!

The breakfast bacon was very thin and too crispy. The potatoes were thick and not crispy enough. This is just in comparison to Embassy Suites SLO breakfast (which my kids compare every hotel breakfast to). But really, that was our only complaint.

Friendly staff, overall clean and maintained facilities, functional and clean room, good breakfast options with very friendly and helpful staff, IMPORTANT we had daily room service. Since COVID most hotels are no longer having this service. Thank you La Quinta And not to forget - EV charging stations (4 plugs)

Well - getting charged $15 for the car per day. The parking options are good and there is plenty of space.

Good breakfast with a team that is constantly paying attention so it is properly stocked. Very nice workers. I liked the options of protein and the fact that they provide non diary milk for coffee. And I loved the areas with a couch and chairs for a more private seating if you meet with a client. The spacious king bed room with a balcony is very nice, and the swimming pool area with that view. Close to downtown and CalPoly University.

The room is beautiful. The bed was very comfortable. The location was perfect. The breakfast was amazing. Love the balcony. The price was acceptable. The shampoo, conditioner, lotion and shower liquid soap dispensers were a bonus!

The shower head was so high up, that by the time the water came down it was a dribble and I wasn’t able to adjust the shower head at all. It took forever to wash the shampoo and conditioner out of my hair. If your a light sleeper like me, the noise level is high, with the restaurant below. Not so much from the people eating there, but from the trucks delivering early in the morning and their back up beep, beep, beep over and over, maneuvering to get out. Then the garbage truck early in the morning dumping the drop box. Very loud. The breakfast goes from 6-9:30 am. So you hear one after another, starting at 6 am, people leaving their rooms and doors slamming. Cluclunck, cluclunck, cluclunck, over and over. I just wanted a relaxing vacation, where I could at least sleep in just a little.

his hotel was exceptional. From staff, to the room, to the amenities the hotel exceed any expectations I had. As I mentioned in my first review, this is the 2nd of two reservations I had made. Booking.com did not have the same room available for two consecutive nights. When I arrived the manager on duty (shout out to Kim!) took it upon herself to attempt to square this all out and try to make it so we wouldn't have to change rooms. By the next morning, the front desk called to let me know we could remain in the same room for the entire stay! This alleviated the need to pack up everything, move it out of the room, and then interrupt our afternoon to return to the hotel to "check in" again. By accommodating us in this way, it allowed for us to take full advantage of our time in SLO and the surrounding area. It was a very kind and amazing gesture. I highly recommend this hotel for the ease, comfort, and wonderfully welcoming staff.

All was great. Our room had a little private deck with chez lounge. The door to that deck was difficult to lock once we were outside and came back in. But it wasn't a big issue and is something easily fixed. All else was wonderful
