There's a grocery major grocery store right across the street major food places all around Banks all around it's in a really good location and I think that's what makes it better than the rest cuz it's right in the heart of Yucca Valley and also the staff is phenomenally sweet I go here every year me and my family stay here because we have family members in the city my family and I are greeted every time we stay customer service 10 out of 10 and very affordable given the location

They could clean the hotel rooms a little bit better the floor was so dirty it turned the hotel room towel black I have kids and my kids like to take their shoes and socks off and run around so that's important to me I had to disinvict the floor myself but other than that they did really good our room got clean we didn't even know that they cleaned it but we forgot to put the do not disturb sign on the door but I was grateful anyway because our trash needed to be taken out towels needed to be replaced stuff like that but other than that the rest of the hotel room was completely clean it was just the tile flooring was horribly dirty

I accidentally left my computer in the room – I was able to come by day later and retrieve it. I was so relieved the staff for honest and helpful and I got my computer back.

I thought the hotel was in Joshua tree right by the park entrance as it was it was more than 20 miles away and another town. Though I was pleased to tell I probably would’ve got something close to the park if I known where it actually was.

The room was very clean and included a fridge and microwave, and an AC unit that actually kept up pretty well with the 100 degree heat outside. Breakfast was included and adequate, and there's a Black Bear Diner next door. The gentleman at the front desk was also very courteous and professional. And though I didn't use the pool it looked very nice and well maintained.

Well, it's an older hotel so it shows its age a bit here and there. Like the hallways for instance, but nothing that would keep me from coming back.

Stayed with family for 1 night. Great location in 30 minutes to Joshua Tree National Park and Palm Springs. Liked hot drinking water and juices available on reception, light breakfast coffee and bread is included and is okay for this price. There is a cafe and grocery store in 3 minutes walk. Good balance of price and quality for this price.

No sound isolation at all. We lived on the ground floor and heared someone walking forth and back in the room above. Sink is located outside of the bathroom. It is not a big deal for 1 night, but looks strange.

The fact that my mom lives literally two blocks away from the hotel is beautiful and that's why I go to visit when I go out there that's awesome when it's around a whole bunch of shops and stuff too and stater Brothers a grocery store is right across the street so very convenient

So the hotel room was clean but I just didn't like that the top comforter on the bed had stains on it I feel like when they start getting stand up like that it's time to just throw them away and buy new ones for the amount of money that they charge for people to stay there it shouldn't be an issue I mean just for one night of me staying there cause ran me $133 but the rest of the hotel room was clean little outdated but clean and I also feel like it's overpriced

Breakfast was a nice added value. The staff was nice and welcoming. The room was in great conditions and making this hotel a great value if you have a car to go around.

The customer next door left the bathroom fan turned on when he left his room in the morning at 6:30AM. It was so loud that I couldn't keep sleeping. Not a biggie, but I wished I could have slept more before going back on the road.

A cozy, safe, comfortable and warm motel that welcomed my friends and I on our trip to Joshua Tree. It is easy to find, right off the main road in Yucca Valley. If you want more of a lively village, stay closer to the gate or in 29 Palms, but this was a nice location for drivers.

My only feedback was that the "free breakfast" was the worst breakfast offering I've ever seen. It was very difficult to build a balanced meal as there were no protein or fat options such as yogurt, peanut butter, eggs, or cheese. It was mainly sugary donuts and instant, refined carbs, which is not a good breakfast for starting a day in a national park (or anywhere). We ended up buying breakfast each morning, which was an extra expense, since the breakfast did not meet any sort of nutritional standard or would have kept us full without crashing for more than 30 minutes. It was convenient only for the motel staff, but not for guests, which is not really considered a service.

Excellent price and had all the bare necessities. Breakfast was also the bare minimum - just cereal, oatmeal, juice, toast (no butter) but really can't complain for the pricepoint.

I wish there was butter or eggs for breakfast but again at that price-point can't really complain.

The staff made up for any shortcomings of the well- placed location. A parking spot reserved for Veterans was a huge plus. Breakfast was OK as far as grab-and-go is concerned. Building was clean, garbage was always taken out. Housekeeping was fantastic. Being right near many hiking areas was perfect.

The age of the building worked against all of the positives. The lack of an elevator made staying on the 2nd floor annoying. The price was a bit much for the location and comfort of my bed, but the owner did help with a slight discount.

Price and location were great for visiting Joshua Tree NP.

Traveling with young children, having breakfast at the hotel was nice. However, the breakfast was very bare bones - all processed carbs: some cereal, muffins, toast, and a honey bun. It was clearly all bargain basement product. But hey, they did feed us, so can't complain too much.
