The Starlight Inn has become our go to accommodation for trips to Joshua Tree NP. We've averaged one two night stay a month in 2024 and have never had a negative thing to stay. The rooms are clean, secure, bathroom is roomy and the room comes with a microwave and small fridge as well as WIFI that is fast and free. It pays to shop around when it comes to places to stay near Joshua Tree but if there is a better "Bang for the Buck" than the Starlight Inn I haven't found it. As long as the quality we've come to expect continues we will continue to stay exclusively at the Starlight Inn and would encourage family and friends to do the same. Hope this is of some help.

Having stayed at the Starlight Inn many times I have yet to be disappointed. It's clean, secure with convenient parking and free and fast WiFi and until recently pricewise was my go to accommodation in Twentynine Palms for visits to Joshua Tree NP.

The price to stay at the Starlight Inn is now more than $30 above what I have been paying staying at an average of once a month for the last year. If it wasn't for a $25 voucher courtesy of Booking.com I would not have booked my stay and actually don't see myself unfortunately staying due to their new increased rate any time soon. I was informed had I booked it directly it would have been even more expensive. It appears it pays to shop around and pays to book through Booking.com. I'd like to thank Booking.com for the voucher provided being very much appreciated. Thank You

The king suite was very spacious and comes with a fridge, microwave, and a coffee maker. Also, the location is perfect stores are close by and it is very lit staff is also friendly and helpful. Attractions are not too far away like Joshua National Park, trails, and the farmers market in 29 Palms.

I thought we would have breakfast in the mornings but was not available during my stay there. Also, there is a pool but I'm not sure if it is operational so kinda disappointed about that too.

Have stayed numerous times in the past when it was America's Best Value Inn with no change other than having to check in next door at the Oasis Inn. The rooms are clean and secure which is what I look for in any accommodations. I do miss when it was part of Red Lions hotels the rewards that I accrued, Having stayed at numerous motels in 29 Palms/Joshua Tree this location for the price point is the best deal and continues to be.

Like stated above accruing rewards ($10 off next stay) is something I miss as it was one of the reasons for me booking at this location.

Every time I stay here (I stay here around 6 - 9 times per year for, usually, just one, but sometimes more, nights), the TV in each room seems to be a different subscription service. I only watch ION (for Chicago Fire, Chicago PD, or Blue Bloods reruns) and over the past year, only the TV in one room actually showed ION on its channel menu. You need to standardize your TVs and quit swapping them around! And, of course, they MUST show ION.

Cameron at the front desk was VERY accommodating and got my non working TV working PDQ. The female desk manager was very helpful attaining an ice bucket for me as well most expeditiously.

The stupid retaining wall I walked over anyhow but being a disable veteran it made it more difficult to have to walk all the way around then walk over or it carefully so plz just remove it. 🙏

Reasonable size room with two comfortable & clean beds, easy & quick access to Joshua Tree NP & Sky's the Limit Observatory.

Looks like the Motel has been taken over by the Oasis next door. There was no staff on site, and Check-In was done at the Oasis.

We stayed on the upper floor (room 209). The room was clean and large. This is obviously a motel that was built decades ago, but has been remodeled and updated. There was a table and chairs in the room, plus a desk, microwave and fridge (even a separate kitchen style sink).

The A/C unit was very loud.

Our stay was very pleasant. The room was very clean and the best was comfortable. Water pressure was great and the overall experience was very good. Will definitely consider this hotel on a return trip to Joshua Tree.

The jacuzzi in the room was just for show and was a bit let down for my wife.

Plenty of parking and love the outdoor patio and bbq next to the pool.

I understand Americas Best and Oasis Hotel are owned by the same person and share the property/parking but I did not exactly care for the behavior of the guests staying at the property next door which shares parking lot next to the pool. At this point I’m not sure if we stayed at the Oasis Hotel or Americas Best.
