The property was in a great location for us and right on the creek. There were places to eat within walking distance and a nice complimentary breakfast. They allowed us to park our RV out front across the street. We stay in hotels when our son is visiting.

When I went to check under the beds for lost items, it was quite dirty and you could tell the box spring had been ripped apart by an animal. We have a dog that doesn’t leave a trace. I had allergies the entire time in the room and I suspect a cat had been there before. The room could use an upgrade and a deep clean.

The staff were super nice. The character of the property being older, you can see they’ve been updating things, was super cute. The pool was older but we had no concerns swimming in it and honestly, my whole family absolutely loved it. The welcoming atmosphere is definitely unmatched. It’s family friendly. We felt safe by its location, we’ve experienced crappy places to stay and this is NOT one of them. This was a very nice place to stay. We’d stay again with no hesitation. Don’t expect a wide array for a continental breakfast but what they had was decent.

Spare keys! We unfortunately experienced locking ourselves out since you only get one key, BUT, the staff was super nice about unlocking our door for us. Parking lot is not meant for larger vehicles. Again, this is an older property with a lot of character, but parking isn’t conducive for super large vehicles. We have a half ton extended cab and full box and that’s about all I’d consider driving here due to the tight parking space.

The breakfast was good, it was just located in such a small area only one person at a time could be in there. We had to just grab what we could and take it back to our room.

It did get a bit warm in the room in the late afternoon and evenings. We had to put the fan up on top of the furniture to circulate some of the cool outside air into the room. But I know a/c is rare in Colorado

Easy to find. Good overall breakfast offering. Pleasant little town. We were there for just an overnight on our road trip, but this was one of our better stays and values for the money. Close to Denver and close to our next destination. We would have stayed in Denver, but everything we saw was a rip off, this was just a little bit further down the road and we are glad that we made the drive. Staff super helpful and friendly.

No real complaints. Georgetown is a little mountain town, so the property is a simple roadside motel. I would consider staying there again.

Great shower, excellent comfortable bed in good size room.

We chose this hotel as it was listed with "Breakfast included" The other hotels in town were listed as :Continental breakfast included" We both wanted a hot breakfast. On arrival we were told the breakfast was continental. I was not pleased. We has to go out and spend extra at the Happy Cooker, where the breakfast was excellent. Warm room as it was cold, but no A/C so would be very hot in summer. Severe shortage of power points. No USB

We stayed here overnight on our return trip home. It is very easy to get to off of interstate 70. It is an older motel-type inn, but our room was clean and very quiet. We had everything we needed for our one night stay. Pete - at the front desk - was very helpful. Some beautiful scenery surrounding Georgetown. We ate a late lunch at a brewery type restaurant by the lake. Good food in a very pretty setting. We left very early the next morning, so I don’t know if they had any breakfast items, other than coffee.

The location was great for the Loop train, and within walking distance of a restaurant the night we got there. The staff person at the desk was friendly and helpful at check-in. Our room was comfortable, and for the most part, clean.

The room is dated, with scratch marks in the sink and chips in the tub. The shower grout was a little moldy, and the shower curtain stained.

we love the personal “mom and pop” type hotels, because of personality and kindness! A healthy continental style breakfast with selection of teas, good coffee, fruits, oatmeal, power bars, boiled eggs and muffins. stylish dated clean comfortable rooms, with great old fashion powerful hot showers! fair prices located about a hour and 15 minutes west, from Denver airport. located in an historic town, with a steam engine railroad. perfect way to start your journey west, to the mountains, and on to the many national parks!

Excellent breakfast. Hot tub and swimming pool. Fascinating historic town.

Older facility, but it had everything we needed for a 3 day ski trip. Our 2nd stay here, and we will be back. Could only get one channel on the TV in our room, and the desk clerk was unable to help.

I liked the room because it was different and had everything we needed to cook and clean with. The room was well prepared for our full stay. We did not need our room cleaned during our stay because it was sufficiently stocked. We stayed in the suite above the lobby. The stars and the creek are visible from the suite balcony. I walked to the Georgetown loop railroad and we all had a ball on the train. Very nice shops nearby. You do not need off road or four wheel drive in the summer. Very easy to get to so if you wanted to drive 45 minutes from Denver at night you won't have trouble because the inn is just off I-70 and easy access. Guanella pass trails and the 730 trails are nearby. I also heard about Silver Plume/the Argentine trail. I'm sure there is more to do or more stuff is open past 8, but probably not based mostly on what the locals will tell you. The bar down the street was a good experience and is open until... McDonald's in Idaho Springs is open late 17 min east off 70. Mountains were spectacular! Bed in master bedroom was comfy enough. Plenty of extra beds in the room. I loved how big the suite was. It was truly a one bedroom apartment. ALL LOCALS ARE FRIENDLY! The picture was from the park 2 or 3 blocks down the street that we took the kids to, they loved it. I didn't think to take more pics of the room. Too busy enjoying the trip.

Everything but a bar and gas station closes in Georgetown around 8pm so if you want nightlife or late night food you'll probably have to go to Denver or Lakewood. We were happy without all that because of the stars and creek right outside.
