Love the atmosphere. Retro rustic decor with comfortable beds in a spacious room. Modern key-code lock so you don't have to carry keys. Common area was comfortable, with basics like coffee and tea. EXCELLENT location! Steps from the transit center to catch the shuttle to the mountain, and so many cuisines to choose from in the two-story shopping center across the parking lot.
The bathroom can use some patching, but it was clean. Same with the cabinet under the sink. Some leftover construction materials there. Could have used a few more hooks and a few more lights.

Came to Winter Park for physical therapy and was lucky enough to get a room at the Viking. With its fabulous location and natural beauty sometimes its you nearly overlook just how wonderful the staff is to top off everything. Been to places up and down the Valley, but the Viking is the one that calls you home. Happy trails!

We thought Holland was the consumate host. She helped us with our bags, getting into our room and was pleasant, conversant and informative about directions to our venues.

The owners are awesome! They are so friendly and helpful. They are readily available and so willing to make your stay comfortable. The beds were comfortable and the place is a gem. They are exactly as advertised. They have coffee available and granola bars for breakfast, but they give great breakfast recommendations.

We thoroughly enjoyed the Lodge, with its cozy fireplace and seating in the lobby. My teens and us had a great time gathering there for games, breakfast and lunch. The beds were super comfortable!
The shower never warmed up in the AM, and the weird Google Nest glowing light on the router or whatever it was in ceiling, would glow brightly in 10-15 min cycles! Very strange.

Very convenient location, a lot of places ot eat. It was very calm (not many people). All amenities needed, clean, nicely vintage.

Loved the lodge feel of the accommodation. The owners were exceptionally friendly and helpful and had thought of many things to make our stay comfortable including providing snacks, plates, games etc. The location was fantastic. Just across the street from the shuttle, restaurants and ski rentals

The room was clean and comfortable. Though there was not a microwave in the room, there was one available for community use in the lounge. Coffee, tea, cocoa, and granola bars were available in the morning. Check-in and check-out were very easy.

Rustic warm and comfortable. Not a lot of bells and whistles. Loved the vintage decor. A great staff, very accommodating.
