I recently stayed at this hotel and had a wonderful experience. The location is absolutely lovely, with easy access to nearby attractions and everything you could need within a short distance. The amenities were excellent, and the lobby area was a perfect spot to relax and unwind after a long day – beautifully designed and very inviting. The staff were fantastic, always friendly, professional, and eager to assist with anything I needed, which really enhanced my stay. I also loved the convenience of having a great café downstairs – perfect for a quick bite or a morning coffee. Parking was available just a short walk away, which was very convenient.

The only small downside was the lack of a microwave in the king room, which would have been a nice addition. However, this was only a minor inconvenience in what was otherwise a superb stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area!

Perfect downtown location, short drive from Iron Mountain hot springs we went to on Saturday night. Beautiful decor with a cosy yet vintage luxury ambience. Room was bigger than expected with lots of charm, loved the fireplace and jetted bath. The beds were huge and very comfortable. Staff in the morning were friendly and helpful, they took a lot of photos of us when we asked, kept our bags for free while we walked around town the next day. The instagram handler was very cute responding to my story tags! I wish I spent another night to spend more time there!

The evening check in staff was not helpful, I understand it was late. However she forgot to tell me about parking, wifi and couldnt answer any questions about where to eat near by etc ( Also the staff ignored my 3 calls/messages throughout the day upon check in and the week before when I enquired to book she was rude). The plug in the bath was broken so I had to hold it while it drained. Lastly I paid for parking but it the gates were left open and "free" with a smiley on the moniter the whole weekend! If they had the facilities to do a breakfast I imagine it would be done wonderfully!!

I've stayed at this hotel a number of times before (when it used to be called the Hotel Denver. I liked it then and I like it even better now. The rooms have been upgraded and everything was great about our stay.

The only thing that was a bit annoying was the parking provided for hotel guests (at $20/day.) The price isn't too bad but the spaces were EXCEEDINGLY SMALL. I know the hotel wants to try to offer as many spaces as it can but it really needs to consider eliminating a few spaces so that people don't have to "shoe-horn" their vehicles (and I'm not talking about oversized vehicles) into the spaces (especially for the amount charged.

I loved the atmosphere!! So welcoming and warm. The staff were super friendly and helpful. All the details and designs of the rooms were comfortable and pleasant to look at. Location is super close to the Main Street restaurants and stores. It’s also beautiful because it’s located next to the river.

Rooms aren’t totally soundproof. Footsteps, moving luggage, and cleaning crews are noisy. But honestly wasn’t a totally deal breaker. Parking availability could be an issue if it’s too busy but staff were helpful in making sure we knew where to park.

It was very nice all around. The hotel was exquisitely appointed and decorated and had the feel I was hoping for. Our room was on the third floor on the west side of the building with an amazing view of the downtown area as well as the mountain, and the bed was very comfortable. We took the train in from Denver, and the location was perfect. It was a short walk across the street to catch the return train. We loved the place.

There was very little to complain about. We loved the place. The only thing that I noticed that could've been better is the plug/lever for the bathtub didn't hold any water, so a relaxing bath wasn't possible.

We loved everything! Staff and checkin went fast and they were super nice. The beds were comfy, the hotel was beautifully decorated, the rooms were also styled really well. We really liked the location too, it was really close to the shopping area and food places.

This doesn't really apply to the hotel but someone stayed with an incredibly loud, yapping dog, and it went off barking multiple times including late at night and woke us up. I will say, the doors aren't as sound proof so that's maybe just a note to be mindful of.

The hotel is historic and beautifully maintained. The rooms are updated with great baths and comfortable beds, great wifi and ample storage. The hotel is close to shops and restaurants. We came there to bike. The hotel is so close to the Glenwood Canyon bike trail which is stunning and also so close to the Santa Fe trail which runs from Glenwood Springs to Aspen. The hotel had secured storage for our bikes and dedicated parking for our cars.

Free breakfast and free parking would have been nice.

Beautiful place, a block and a half from the main drag downtown. Clean rooms, have the classic feel of the old hotel, but with modern amenities. Loved the small touches, like the modernized rotary phone in the room. Great Mountain Views from the room and beautiful decor throughout the hotel.

Only slight downfall, which was no big deal, was that sound traveled more in the old building than some of the newer ones. I would consider that character and not an issue.

The property was very classy and our room actually had 2 bathrooms which was very nice since there was 4 of us… it was a double king room. The hotel was right in downtown Glenwood Springs so it was within walking distance of lots of restaurants and shops; very convenient. And there was a brewery/restaurant attached to the hotel which was excellent.

You get charged $20 per day for parking. There are 2 garages which are a block or so away. We opted to just find parking on the street around the hotel.

Beds and sheets were comfortable and clean. Towels were rough but clean. The individual soaps were very nice. Halls were very clean. Phone lines were down so I could not reach the hotel to confirm my stay, but the manager called me directly to confirm after I sent an email. Very kind of him! The hotel bar was nice with a kind and talented bartender.

We were given an inside room which seemed a bit claustrophobic since you could not see outside. Understandable since it is a historical hotel.
