Location was great for our stay as we were able to see Pikes Peak the day we checked in, and the next day we checked out and went to Garden of the Gods which was just a couple of miles away up the hill. The hotel seemed very new or recently renovated, very nice and clean and quiet. I did not check out the available breakfast, but usually is good at this hotel chain. Also, there was quite a bit of covered parking which was well lit. We had our bikes locked on the bike rack of our car but still worried a little about theft, but we saw a security camera nearby and hoped for the best and there was no problem. Also, even though that part of town seemed old, (in a historic way), it was quiet at night.

Room and bed were very comfortable. The whole facility was very clean. Location was good for us as we were right next to the highway 24 entryway and traveling to Woodland park. If you are there to see Manitou Springs it is a long walk into town but doable. There maybe a shuttle you could take. Breakfast was okay, not bad, not great. I do love their gooey cinnamon rolls. Mattress and linens were very nice.

The check in was a little rough. We arrived at 5 and our room wasn't ready. There were about 5 other parties also waiting for their rooms. The check in person was disheveled, unshaven and rather curt in telling us our room wasn't ready. All he said was something like, "you can't check in for another 30 minutes." No explanation, no apology. After a few questions and answers we understood what was going on. We decided to go drive through town to check it out and got back at 6. By then the others had checked in and we checked in easily with the same person. He was less curt this time. Just not a good first impression. An explanation and apology upfront would have gone along way to easing the situation. However, the stay was fine and I would stay here again.

I loved the convenience of the covered parking spaces to the elevator. The site was very clean well taken care of. I loved that a free bus shuttle picked us up and took us into town and brought us back right in front of the hotel.

I didn’t like that the second morning my coffee maker would not work, and I reported it three times before the gentleman on duty the second day of our stay took care of it. There were ants in our bathroom. But other than that we had a great time

Breakfast was fine. Consistent with all previous Holiday Inn & Suites hotels. Especially liked the view of the mountains from the room. Suggest to all guests: request rooms on 3rd floor with odd numbers (301, 303, 305, etc.) for mountain view. Good parking. Hotel is only about 3-4 months old.

Entrance is slightly confusing. Not easy from street level, or accessible from driveway. Necessary to walk up stairs or winding ramp. Best to park on LL, then take elevator to 1 to Front Desk.

,New hotel with really great staff. Rooms were clean and quiet. Comfy pillows and mattress. Staff were very attentive and accommodating. Their only weakness is the breakfast, but I still think this was an excellent hotel and we both enjoyed our stay.

The "breakfast" was pathetic. I think it would have been better just not to do anything than what little they did. Pancake machine was broken. They had scrambled (powdered?) eggs and either sausage or bacon. Two empty chafing dishes every day of our stay. Had milk cartons for cereal the first day then not.

Friendly staff. Clean, comfortable room. Good breakfast including warm cinnamon rolls. Tea and coffee available all day. Guest laundry facilities. Good indoor swimming pool. Large car park.

No butter or fruit juice available at breakfast during stay.

Loved the location . I also loved we were able to get a triple room. I enjoyed breakfast, especially the friendly staff during breakfast. She was so sweet and helpful. Also, the beds were comfortable.

The property and rooms were clean, well maintained and the staff was courteous and professional. The complimentary breakfast offered a variety of fast menu items and was very good. The property was safe…and in a great little town in south, central Colorado. I highly recommend the hotel to anyone passing thru or staying in the area.

The room was clean and comfortable, close to town and to outdoor activities.

The internet service wasn't available (I figured out in the morning that they had entered my name by first name and not last in their system - the night person couldn't figure that out when I checked), but even when I was able to log in the service was weak.

The cleanliness was great. The location was good, very near our event spot at Garden of the Gods. The beds were super comfy. The mountain view was fabulous.

The outside stairs were slippery from the snow and were not treated. We had to go that way for check-in. The staff was ok but not super welcoming or anything. Not very helpful, either.
