We loved the location. Architecturally the hotel is extraordinary. The authenticity is 100 percent. This is as close to Bavaria as one can get.

Valet lost our keys to our car. Lots of searching til they found them. A couple of front desk clerks were curt and dismissive. The concierge was never to be found.

Location Large rooms Sauna and spa are wonderful Bully Ranch is perfect for dinner! The concierge were very knowledgeable The pool area and fireplace with oxygen bar AMAZING! We already booked for next year

Nothing! Absolutely nothing with the room or hotel $45 for parking and not needed to use car at all was steep. Is our only complaint. Having to call for ice (we use a lot) not convient. Bag it and let customers take on demand

We loved the spa facilities! There are steam rooms and saunas in the men’s and women’s locker rooms. The outdoor pool was fantastic. We visited at the peak of fall color, so it was like sitting in a painting.

It’s expensive! But we knew that going into it and wanted to spoil ourselves for our first wedding anniversary. They also do weddings here, so if you’re an early sleeper and have a room close by the reception room, that might annoy you. They are very good about shutting things down at 10:30ish though.

Stayed 4 nights over Labor Day. Beautiful hotel with relaxing atmosphere. Loved the 3 spas (2 outdoors/1 indoors) and the indoor/outdoor pool. It was enjoyable sitting outside and listening to the creek. Great location close to the village events and all the shops and restaurants. Quick walk over to Lions Head. The staff were wonderful! Bed turned down every night, with slippers and robes laid out. They even filled our ice bucket and left a tasty cookie treat for us each night. Vallet was also very friendly and very prompt. Would definitely stay again. Didn't get a chance to eat at the hotel but the food looked delicious and heard great things about their restaurant and cafe.

Location was exceptional. The staff was exemplary. House keeping service was the best we have ever had at hotel or resort.

We would recommend having more pool side chairs, especially lounge chairs for the outside pool.

Ludwigs, the breakfast restaurant,is outstanding- beautiful room, wonderful food, marvelous staff. In past times, before Pandemia, they had the most excellent breakfast buffet. If Dr Fauci can ever be compelled to lift his little size 6 Gucci from off the necks of the American public, perhaps Ludwig’s buffet can live again!

Not a thing. It’s perfect.Run by the same family for 100 years...

Everything! The rooms are laid out really well with a refined rustic look. Nespresso pods and a machine for morning coffee, great views of the mountains, comfortable beds and linen. And the staff and service were really great. All very friendly and helpful from front desk, bell man, valet and poolside. The poolside has indoor and outdoor hot tubs and pools with bar service. The hotel is also located in Vail village right outside one of the shuttle stops that are free and take you between villages. Overall it was our best hotel stay during our week long Colorado trip!

There really isn't much to not like. The hotel, the staff and services are just top notch even if it's not classified as five star. There is no option to cast to the TV using apps like Netflix which would be a nice addition.

We loved the charming interiors of the entire hotel and especially our room. Each morning we woke up in our cozy beds and had coffee on the balcony overlooking the mountains. The views are truly spectacular.

Staff was amazing, overall decor was very charming. Furnishings could use an upgrade/update. Bed was not comfortable but location and charm made up for it!

Updated furnishings and more comfortable bed/linens.
