the rooms were perfect. The bathrooms were also perfect with a motion activated light for night time bathroom trips. The pool was fantastic and the water slides exceeded expectations. We did the dolphin sunset tour which you can access on the board walk right by the property, the beach excursion, kayaks, the putting green. The food at the pool was good with typical hotel pricing, coffee shop was extremely fair priced similar to Star Bucks and Caraboo Coffee, The Tangled Christmas dinner was fantastic but $$$. We will definitely by back.

Front desk was amazing. We booked the night hoping to have some time by ourselves for our 10 year wedding anniversary but also enjoy some time there later in the day with the kids after school. We initially came in very upset over the fact that the pool we booked the hotel for was closed but the front desk attendant who checked us in upgraded us to a suite that made us feel like we were on the anniversary of a lifetime! We still brought the kids over later and they thoroughly enjoyed the lazy River even though the adventure pool was closed. We’re already trying to plan a trip back!

Service at Tarpon Bay was questionable but we still enjoyed ourselves. Construction next door was also very annoying.

All the business meetings held at the hotel. One staff member even told us they have lack of help for the common folk because they pull all the workers to help with the business groups. The front desk staff and coffee shop staff are spot on. Pool guy needs way more help with more staff. There was one guy working for the entire pool area.

Overall our stay at the resort was a positive one. The food and hotel amenities were great. The remodeled rooms were also beautiful. If you go with your family you can choose to relax or enjoy the kids pool area. In the evenings there are many spaces to engage in conversation and enjoy a drink.

Having to commute to the beach. The volume of people in the family pool, waterfall pool, and lazy river on Saturday. It seemed a lot of folks came for the day and later left.

we love the convenience of the property and lovely pools.

it was very busy as labour day week end - as from the UK we didn’t realise this. We didn’t appreciate paying 24 dollars for overnight parking when our room was in excess of 600 dollars! We also couldn’t believe that at that price it didn’t include breakfast!

I loved how accommodating the chefs were for my daughter who has celiac disease. I also loved how many amenities are there to enjoy.

I didn’t like having to wait to get to our room, it wasn’t ready for a whole. I didn’t like that the game room is mostly broken, we lost a bunch of money in there. I also didn’t like how the salon had no availability for me to take my daughters to get their nails done.

Our room was never cleaned. I called down at 4pm and was told it would be done by 6. It wasn't. I had to grab extra towels and coffee from a closet that was opened.. For the price of the rooms per night the room should be at least stocked and trash emptied. Very disappointing 😕

The room was clean, modern, and what looked like freshly renovated. The hotel had a great little water park. My girls loved it, and there was plenty to do with a 3 year old despite her height disadvantages. So, she was not able to go on the bigger slides but she still had plenty to do with us. The beach access via the boat was amazing too. So much easier than getting in a car and loading up with supplies. Besides, we had dolphins swimming next to our boat on the way to the beach, that's a commute that's hard to beat.

The pool is great for kids, there are many activities to keep children busy

Things around the hotel are very expensive. 10$ for a hard seltzer, 45$ for a burger, soda and cocktail. To be expected I realize but when the hotel it self is very pricey makes it even more. So we did like most guests and ordered out or went and picked up food else where. Also, the water in the shower wasn’t very hot.

The swimming pools and the beach were great. The hotel staff was helpful, professional and friendly. The service and staff at the restaurants were excellent and went overboard to please.

You asked what I did not like. 1. The adjacent golf course, Raptor Bay GC, was overpriced and I was forced to seek play elsewhere on a few occasions. I had looked forward to playing daily on that course during our one week stay at the hotel. It is a beautiful course but some members of the staff need training and came across as ignorant. There were a few knowledgeable staff members and these were both professional and accommodating. Additionally, they denied me the discount on the green fees that I was told I would get if I stayed at the hotel. 2. To charge a guest separately for parking at a resort is tacky. At $400 - 500 per day for a room, why charge $20 for parking? Better to advertise a fee of $420 - 520/day and allow guests an all inclusive experience.
