Our ocean view room offered amazing views of the ocean, beach, pier, the pool, and a local bungee attraction. It was a typical small hotel room but did allow our dog's 4'x3' cage to nestle near the foot of the bed. The balcony windows opened wide allowing us to hear the rhythmic sound of waves crashing on the shore, the Classic sounds of Daytona's finest hot rods on the street below, and hilarious faint screaming of bungee jumpers. A nice touch was the two sinks and mirrors separated by the bathroom door. So glad I booked through booking.com. My genius level 2 status allowed us free breakfast (better than the h-honors discount) and the overall stay reflected a deep off-season discount not available outside of booking.com! Breakfast was delicious, fruit was so sweet! And Ricardo's custom omelettes were second to none! The resort came with amenities like bicycles to rent, a poolside bar, spacious hot tub, fitness room, and a lot of grass for the dog to roam. Elevators moved quickly allowing our dog not to feel too much stress about that new experience.

A major downside was the cockroach in the room the first nite. EEW! We picked up some raid the next day and didn't have any major issues, but that kept me from complete relaxation- wondering if every tickle is a bug. Also we checked in just before 10pm, starving from a long day of driving. Nothing in the hotel was open even though front desk advised restaurants were open until 11. We had to go outside and wander across the street in the dark to Domino's for food. The changes of 'open' times are probably due to covid related issues, but communication is important, I would expect Hilton to have this buttoned up better.

The room location was amazing. We were on the 12th floor and on the corner where we could see the beach and the main strip. Several place to eat nearby and the valet guys were super friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The back patio area was great for a cocktail while waiting for the taxi to take us to dinner.

The room seemed to be a little outdated and in need for an upgrade. There was mold inside the air vent(we didn't notice until we were checking out). However, my wife and came home with minor sinus infections and think it could have possibly been because of the room. Just not up to our "Hilton expectations".

I have been to several Hilton's, This is a Hilton that has been in the area for some time. Overall it is a very resort feel. 40 dollar a day for valet parking, self parking also cost, Sodas were 5.00 a can. Average cost for a resort. There pools were very nice and clean. The pool area had tons of seating, both shaded and sun. There is a bar that has food and drinks and the waitress works her behind off! Staff was very pleasant. Allen is an exceptional worker that went above and beyond to make sure that our belongings were handled and car was taken care of. There are a few resturant's at the location and the buffet was very good. The area was quit for dinner. There is Starbucks too, who doesn't want that. It is in a great location to the pier, convention center and just a few blocks away from the party street where the bars are, (if that is your thing) the rooms were sizable, view is beautiful. Only down side, THIS IS A BUSY RESORT and they were having intermitted elevator issues. I would stay here again. Bed are on the older side,. They are very springy. Still considering everything we will be staying again.

Beds were older, and springy not what you would expect from a higher end Hilton. Elevator had some issues- Things happen and the staff was very nice.

The location was perfect. Beautiful views all around. The room was extremely clean. It didn’t have soap or washcloths when we arrived, but they promptly brought them to the room when asked. The pool was very vice and clean

Apparently I booked it through a different site than Hilton. I was not happy about the parking cost when you’re staying there. That detail was not included. We arrived at 4pm for check in. We were told they didn’t have a room available. It took 1.5 hours after check in time to get into our room. At that point, we tried to go get the boogie board that was said we could get one per day. The store said we couldn’t get it due to the store closing soon. My kids were super disappointed. We were only staying one night. I do believe they credited that charge for us though.

The cold water did not work in the shower. The buffet breakfast was great. The pool was great as well as the blind turtle bar!

Would have been nice to have an employee walk to pool and remove towels that had been sitting in chairs after an hour of unuse. So many people came down to “hold a chair” only to return 4-5 hrs later. I sat at the pool from 8am-3pm both Monday and Tuesday and saw several guests having to sit on the cement because towels were on chairs where those people left hours before(I saw them leave)

Room was comfortable, staff and restaurants were great. Entertainment was fabulous, everything was walking distance. We loved the pool was open until 11p, live music and drinking available until 2am. We will return soon!

Watch out for open tabs or leaving tip blank on your receipt because you can find unpleasant billing surprises when checking out and getting your hotel bill. Front desk kindly solved the issues and corrected my bill. Sooo KEEP YOUR RECEIPTS!!! That saved me money and aggravation.

The bars were nice. The staff at the Mexican bar was no so much rude, but abrupt.

The elevators were horrible. At one point the stairs weee faster.

The valet parking was very nice for coming and going. We we're in walking distance to everything. Everyone was very kind and helpful.

There was to many extra charges on top of the price i paid. the parking was across the street for $30 to park your car on your own a day or valet parking for $40 a day. we needed to stay another night because my friends son was in a very bad car accident. He was air lifted to the hospital near the hotel. We ask if they would help us in any way with the cost for another night. they didn't and it cost the same as the other nights. we didn;t want to have to change hotels.

The location was perfect...it sat right on the beach & there were plenty of places to go to get food; besides, inside the hotel. The staff & other employees were very friendly & helpful!

I think the price of a $100 for a 7lb Toy Shih Tzu was a bit high & there was nothing that I read that indicated that this price was going to be so high! The price for parking only had the price listed for daily parking & not for overnight stays which was more! Also, the sunrise view is misleading...I was thinking it was going to be an ocean view side; but, it was the same as the city view; just higher up!! Also, there should be disabled parking in the structure that the valets used...having an issue with a damaged femoral nerve in my left leg & a bad back made the trip from the parking lot diagonally across the street was a bit much to deal with!

We’ve gotten a really good deal where we’ve paid for the ocean view room at the price of the city view with breakfast included. Breakfast was great, just like we’re looking for a long time, variety of options available just like breakfast in Europe, not just a regular American hotel breakfast. We also got lucky to check in fast, right after us the line for check in was going around the corner and it made the hallway crowded.

If it wasn’t this deal it isn’t worth the money you pay with regular rates. Surprisingly no microwave in the room probably a strategy to push get something at the restaurant or order for in-room dining.
