Right on the beach. Great amenities. Close to downtown Fort Walton and only 10 minutes from Destin. Restaurant and bar on site.

My room was changed after I had already checked in and received my room number, which would have been a room with a pool view and partial but decent view of the gulf, because the prior guest decided at the last minute to stay an extra night. Instead I ended up with a view of the condo next to the hotel and could barely see the gulf only if I pressed my face to the glass and looked left. The staff attempted to make up for this with several credits and vouchers, which was appreciated. However, the disappointment of the crappy view each morning remained.

The hotel was beautiful, with a perfect location. Our room had the best view of the pool and ocean. The food was delicious at the hotel restaurant. The staff was helpful and very knowledgeable.The grounds were beautiful and kept up well. We really enjoyed the hotel and will definitely be back.

The price was pretty high, but I imagine it is due to the season. We needed an additional 30 minute added to our checkout, which was flatly denied. We thought that would have been easier to accommodate after spending so much money at the hotel, but I understand that they had a lot of new guests coming in.

I didn’t know that you had to pay $50.00 per night extra for incidentals. At the end of our 3 night stay…that added up to basically an extra night that we had to pay for. I understand that it drops off our card 3-5 business day AFTER checkout…..but what if someone didn’t budget for that after a week of staying there & maxed out the card. I can understand a $50.00 charge, but not a recurring $50.00 charge….I would not stay here again for any amount longer than we stayed for that reason.

Great pool area and you can’t beat being right on the beach. Staff was really nice.

Our room didn’t seem well maintained. The ceiling had water damage stains all over it. The carpet was damaged in several place (torn/ missing patches). The shower rod had apparently been torn down before and then put back up and you could see the holes from the original installation (just a bad look, like it was thrown up with no care for appearances at all). The metal shelf in the closet wasn’t attached and would fall down every time you tried to hang something up.

Location is outstanding. The view from our room was perfect. Beautiful ocean view. Liked the Facility design and layout including the outdoor setup (pool and beach access) The staff was very friendly. Honestly, they made the difference and overcame any facility issues we experienced. The people working there are why my review was as high as I selected. We liked the resort like feel as opposed to a basic hotel or condo.

The main entrance to the hotel is poorly marked. There were a few doors inoperable during our stay. For example, one of the main doors to the pool / outdoor area was broken and it would drag the floor so a sign was put up that said to use another exit. Out of your control unless you restrict pets, but a small dog was barking near our room in the mornings. Very annoying.

I love the cleanliness of the property. We stayed in one of the suites that had a king bed, living area, bunk beds, and a sofa bed. There were five of us and we had plenty of space. There is one pool inside of the hotel and a pool/lazy river outside. There is a beach on site! This is our second time staying at this hotel and I would recommend it to anyone. The staff was amazing and very prompt with any needs. The bathrooms outside are super clean as well. This hotel will always be a go to for our family while in Fort Walton or Destin.

A bit pricey but for me, it was worth every penny.

Everything was great! The lunch we had at the Hilton restaurant was wonderful. Our service, drinks, food were a hit for my family. The rooms were spacious, balcony with a view was perfect. Pool and hot tub were relaxing. Palm trees were just beautiful. I hope we have an opportunity to visit again!

My only complaint was the foot wash for the sand. It was not working properly. I understand these are a pain to keep operational. So really not a complaint, more of a maintenance request. We had a great time at the Hilton Garden Hotel!

The first time to destin and to Hilton Inn, the staffs were extremely nice, from the reception to the kitchen. The location is PERFECT!, U can walk to the beach and many restaurants. 5-7mins uber to the grocery store and the crab island. Ms. Sandy and people at the front desk were super nice and made us feel like home. Honestly, most of the hotel i have been, they weren't as friendly as this place. The price was alittle pricy but other than that We had the best vacation in Destin this year.

Pool and outside area were beautiful and relaxing. There is quick access to the beach and boardwalk area where there are several restaurants and shops. However, the food at the onsite restaurant was very good if you don't want to go out. Quick walk over to the Emerald Coast Convention Center. The hotel is newer and well maintained. We really enjoyed our stay and would come back.

Service could have been better. Requested a price match at check in and was abruptly told no. It was $150 difference for the 2 nights or else I wouldn't have asked. Staff at the restaurant seemed overwhelmed.
