We were in Gainesville for a quick trip. Ended up needing to stay a night. I found this hotel and when we got there it was very comfortable and smelled very good. The desk clerk was very nice. Our room was very comfortable and huge! My daughter and I went to take advantage of the swimming pool and enjoyed ourselves. The king-size bed was huge. Breakfast was really good too! Also, when my daughter (5 yrs old) got sick from the free popcorn they had (she said it was too spicy for her and it didn't agree with her little tummy) the desk clerk was concerned about her and gave us extra towels because we had gone thru them quickly.

I absolutely loved my stay here! The staff is excellent and the property was very clean and neat. Our room was wonderful and The pool area was beautiful! They have popcorn, cookies and coffee available in the lobby all day and breakfast in the morning. There was soooo much to choose from for breakfast! And the food was absolutely delicious! I will definitely be staying here again.

There wasn’t anything I didn’t love about this property. Everything was absolutely perfect.

Location was awesome as my husband was a patient at Shands. The front desk team was absolutely welcoming and amazing. I don’t have all their names but Joy and Alice stood out. The rest of that team was also wonderful. The kitchen attendant was so friendly and went out of her way to make sure everyone had a great breakfast!

Genuine Southern hospitality from the entire staff. Rooms very clean and comfortable, good value. Good, satisfying breakfast with good selection ( the Hostess even brings homemade " Hot Grits ", a wonderful Southern family delight !! ) They had a free TailGate Party picnic ( burgers, dogs, beans, cole slaw, wings ) on Game Day and a free shuttle to and from the stadium. Please tip the Driver generously !! :*)

They location is convenient to Shands hospital. The room had been renovated and was clean. The accommodations were very nice, especially the breakfast. The real star of the stay was the staff. Joy really made our entire family feel like a part of her family. The rest of the staff were helpful and understanding. We were in Gainesville for a family illness and death. They did everything that they could to help us during a difficult time.

After trying to think of something we didn't like all we could come up with was the tile floor in the bathroom was loose. Not a big deal by any stretch of the imagination.

the handle on the toliet was broken so that the first time I tried to flush it wouldn't work. I have had the same problem at home and was able to reattach it but I am surprised that it didn't get caught during the cleaning. the room was very good. I would like a better list of the TV channels. I had difficultly figure out what was what, but overall an excellent experience for a one night stay.

Very friendly and accommodating staff. I was asked several times while coming and going if I needed anything and to be sure and ask if I do. The room was clean, bed very comfortable and amenities good. Great deal for the price. Close to Payne’s Prairie, which is why I was in the area. I felt safe. Breakfast had good hot and cold options and great grab and go fruit and snack options.

It was conveniently located by interstate highway, closed to restaurants, and a short drive to the university. The breakfast and extra snacks (popcorn, cookies) were a great source of energy to start the day and keep on going. Finally, the beds and pillows were very comfortable, and one day, we even slept through dinner until the next day. :)

Gentleman at the front desk is always so nice! This is our 4th stay here in the last few Months! Beds and pillows Are so soft. We did get to eat Breakfast this time and it was great.

Can’t say that anything wasn’t to our liking!

Plenty of food for breakfast- The staff was very kind & helpful. Room & bed very comfortable. Loved the popcorn & fresh baked cookies. Parking very convenient.

Bathroom could use a little updating. Wallpaper old & coffee maker did not work.
