The pool was heated and not crowded, the room was very clean (smelled and looked clean) and we had no problems with the AC. The room layout was nice and there was no issue with finding a parking spot. Lots of string lights outside and good ambience. It is right off the highway, but the pool is in a courtyard so it doesn't feel exposed. Staff was friendly and helpful. We had some activities cancelled and went to the front desk to ask for recommendations. She printed out our hotel booking confirmation to use for free entry into a park nearby. I loved all the lamps around the room to get plenty of light without overhead lights. Accessible outlets and a large full length mirror! Hair dryer worked great and they weren't stingy with towels. Housekeeping is by request.

The bathroom was the biggest down side, the shower was backed up the whole time (we didn't say anything because my boyfriend has some experience and said it wasn't an easy fix and they would probably have us move rooms, so I just dealt with it). We had to wait a few minutes between showers to not run out of hot water. The bathroom kind of looked like a "handyman special" but the toilet and sink were clean and worked. Other reviews mentioned the noise from the road, but when you have the AC unit on at night you can't really hear it. I brought a sound machine just in case, but I didn't really need it. Overall I think it was a good value for the area!

This hotel is well located for a first night stay in the Keys. The rooms were large, comfortable and well appointed and the air conditioning was efficient in the heat and high humidity. A very big thank you to the front desk staff who gave us great advice regarding fast approaching Hurricane Milton. Being Australian, we had experienced extreme weather but never a cat 5 Hurricane and we were suitably alarmed. However, we heeded the excellent advice and all went well. Overall, under the circumstances this was a very lovely stay!

The motel is centrally located in the Keys. The room was comfortable and reasonable for the price in the area. A note. A year ago my daughter was married just down the road from this motel and they booked off rooms for guests for the wedding. So we had prior knowledge of this motel. There is a central microwave for use my all guests. The pool is nice and heated. Mikes Mangrove restaurant is next to the motel. They serve HUGE breakfast portions. Highly recommended!

I really do not have anything bad to say about this motel. But if you are expecting a "luxury" hotel with ameneties this is not the motel for you.

It was very clean! Staff was friendly but not “pushy” & location was excellent.

They should leave a light, even a dim one, at closing. We arrived at 11:15 & they appeared to be closed. So we went on to Key West & spent the night of 8/29 there. Received a delayed v-mail (probably because I was using my tele’s GPS?!) & missed their call that our key was under the mat!! ☹️ PS something should be done about the AC unit….either on (quite loud) or off (quite warm)…auto didn’t seem to be an option :(

The hotel is beautiful, so clean. Rooms are so spacious and a fantastic variety of tea, coffee, and milks. The lady on at the desk the night we checked was so friendly and chatty, she recommended fantastic places to eat. The pool area was so clean and well maintained it even had a play area for kids with giant chessboard. The outdoor area at night was lit up beautifully with fairy lights. Perfect hotel for a family to stay in. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Fantastic spacious room and well appointed with everything we needed. Great pool area. Superbly located near shops, a fantastic restaurant (Mangrove Mikes) and the Islamorada Brewing Company. 10 - 15 minutes from Robbies which is a great place to go on trips and have a drink/food. The staff were so helpful too.

No access to a beach, which I didn't realise really, but I'm sure its noted. But we really would come here again if we're in the neighbourhood and we have already recommended it to friends.

Check in was efficient, receptionist was very friendly and advised LoraLei's for dinner - which was lovely. Room was large and clean. A great space. however, shower was cold and when i reported this at check out the receptionist (a different lady) was very unconcerned about this and me not being able to shower. TIP: ask for a room away from the roadside or you will listen to traffic noise all night.

i dont take hot showers so the shower being cold and essentially not fit for purpose was disappointing as well as the receptionists attitude towards this issue, eg they must've turned the temperature down.

The receptionist was simply lovely and understanding when we needed to vent We were tired and fed up because of a situation with the hotel we booked originally in islamorada and had paid for but who hadn’t advertised a resort fee on booking.com and though we’d paid they wouldn’t let us stay unless they charged our credit cards and would discuss after we’d left the resort and this is despite 3 phone calls to booking.com saying their terms didn’t indicate this!
