Rules to use the kayaks were very strict and area to use them extremely limited, the two youths in charge told us it was because of new management.

I have been staying at Pelican Cove for years now. I love how it is smaller than the other resorts and the cove is very private and quiet.

The rooms are a bit older now and are starting to show their age. I realize a renovation is coming up. When we checked in our room was not clean (4pm) and this was after we showed up at noon and they knew we were waiting. They said they upgraded us to an ocean view but the room was looking directly at the pool and there were kids everywhere, the music at the pool was also very loud. This was a weekend and the weekdays are usually much more quiet. After going back to the front desk twice we finally were put in a room with a great view however the furniture was lacking in the room (it was missing a coffee table and a side table and we had to put stuff all over the floor but the view was perfect!

The hotel's location is excellent. The beach and the pool are really nice. Clean room and exellent view from the balcony.

The room was cramped and there is no table of any kind. The hotel does not offer breakfast so it would be nice to make breakfast in the room, but the fridge is far too small for that. The water pressure in the shower is absolutely miserable. We stayed 5 nights and cleaning happened once, which was really strange when the price of one night is almost $400. On two days they knocked on the door at 4:30-5 p.m. and then it's too late to clean.

They did away with the continental breakfast which we had at our two other stays and chai hound was not the best place for breakfast at the Post Card

No towels for pool on wednesday of our stay.

We read all the reviews before staying here so I figured I’d leave a detailed one. checking in at the sister hotel was really not as inconvenient as in the reviews we read. pelican cove was definitely more laid back than post card inn. cleaning people and check in people were super friendly and helpful. they have a shuttle service. the numbers aren’t easy to see from the road so took a minute to find our room but this wasn’t super inconvenient as the building is small. the room was huge with plenty of space. we brought a boat and payed for Marina docking and were able to dock at the pelican side which was super convenient. the pool and bar at the pool were very calm and laid back. a lot of places are in walking distance.

We had a beautiful marina view from our balcony. The pool was near the Gulf and we sat facing the gulf with a pina colada. Paradise!

Hotel room could have been a little bigger otherwise the location was great for a quick getaway!

Room was excellent - loved the private balcony. Although we didn't have an official ocean view room, the ocean was visible through the trees! There is so much to do here with no need to get in the car! 2 private beaches, pier walk with lovely sunset views, 3 excellent restaurants, pools, beachside tiki bars, free paddleboards, kayak, and bicycles. Very quiet especially after dark. Very clean! This property was so relaxing! Excellent location too - multiple attractions and restaurants in an easy drive from property.

Our tv remote and the main lamp in room were not working on our arrival. We requested maintenance service the next morning, but it took 3 days to have the remote fixed, and the room lamp never was fixed.

This resort group is absolutely stunning and we didn’t want to leave. Beautiful landscape, excellent food and amazing service from all staff. It exceeded our expectations and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Private beach areas and varies pools offer something for every taste. You have free access to all partnering resorts and can roam freely on the premises. This truly didn’t feel like vacation in the US but more like a tropical vacation somewhere in the Caribbean. There were all sorts of travelers from families with small and older kids, to young couples, friend groups and retired couples.

Nothing. This is a piece of paradise and we cannot recommend it high enough. We can’t wait to go back.

I was worried about this resort based on some prior reviews but we were pleasantly surprised. We had an oceanfront room with a great view of the palm trees and beach area. The balcony was very private and we enjoyed sitting out there in the morning and evening. It was a very quiet, peaceful setting. The staff stopped by each morning to see what we needed so we could replenish our coffee, towels, waters, etc. They were very attentive. We used the kayaks and there were also paddle boards available along with a variety of yard games. If you want a little more action, you can walk right next door to their sister property the Postcard Inn. The Tiki Bar is fun and the Raw Bar had a great fish taco and you could sit on the upper level with a great view of the ocean. Lots of nice areas there to sit and relax by the marina. The grounds around both properties are nicely landscaped and maintained. We would definitely visit again.

Can’t say we didn’t like the property but a few little things like the lighting in the room, could use a few brighter light bulbs in the room. The bathroom was nicely updated but there was a rather wide shelf below the mirror but right above the faucet. While washing your face or brushing teeth you ran the risk of bumping your head trying to stay centered over the sink. Also the outlet in the bathroom didn’t work, we let them know this as we checked out.

Sister property to Postcard Inn. Smaller number of units in what appears to be an older style, but fairly well maintained low rise (3 floors) building with pool, bar and beach that provided an intimate private feel to the resort. Good sized room with expected amenities including a safe, air conditioning, updated bathroom. All units have a beach view. All staff we interacted with were highly positive and helpful. Liked the key fob on a bracelet idea for room access.

Access to other pools, bars and restaurants were a short walking distance away on sister property. Appeared to be short staffed at the Postcard Inn where check in and check out was handled, leading to a bit of a longish wait for service. Only one elevator was in service and out door bathroom facilities were out of service.
