location location location! walk to beach , secluded and despite the street noise room was quiet . the room with balcony was awesome , high ceilings and great design overall . huge bathroom in stone and copper . tucked in patio / garden where you can unwind .

property charges a cleaning fee but there’s no cleaning service during your stay. I suggest make your own bed and keep it clean. clean towels were available upon request .

Mickael was an amazing help during check in and Jordan (I believe was his name) was a great help during check out at 430a. While the hotel room was an older place, you can see they are trying to keep it in good condition. I love the character and beauty of this place and enjoyed my stay!

The bed was super comfortable BUT I could see it was older and had a decent amount of staining on the bed. It would be nice to see beds updated or better mattress protectors on the bed to handle to guest turnover. The door into the hotel lobby was difficult to open due to the locking mechanism.

it was in the back, very quiet and cozy. it was right in the middle of everything and easy access to the beach.

I didn’t like that they describe our room as having a tub and it didn’t..

I liked several things about this hotel: - Location is superb (close to everything South Beach has to offer) - Staff is helpful (look for Michael) - Room (The Grand Suite is amazing!)

Two things I didn't like: - Room (The Grand Suite did not have a microwave) - Room (The Grand Suite cordless blinds leading to the balcony did not work, ex -- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=18tvBuXdm9c -- please look into this)

Overall i'm very happy with our stay. We enjoyed the location, very close to the beach. Beach towels were provided. The building was a little old and was very basic but for the price you aren't getting a better deal. The room was very clean. No bugs or cockroaches or anything. Bed was very comfortable, although firm. They used real mugs instead of cups which is appreciated. The detachable shower head was a good feature. The entrance patio was also a great place to sit and have morning coffee. I would definitely recommend it and would stay here again in a heartbeat.

As far things we did not enjoy, it's the shower. The shower is a little odd and water would pool at the bottom of the floor and drain very slowly. I could deal with the open style shower otherwise, but the water pooling made showering awkward. The room is also not regularly serviced daily. The hotel next door will provide with anything needed upon request though. For us, this wasn't an issue but for a family of 4 looking to stay longer than a week, it could be tiresome.

The location was great. This makes our 3rd time staying in this location and it’s worth it. It was quiet and right across from everything, especially the beach.

The bathtub didn’t have a stopper and it wasn’t cleaned before we got there I had to clean it. Iron board was broken and the coffee maker took a minute to actually work.

First I would like to thank the front desk host at La Flora(We has to checkin at La Flora) Mike! He is awesome and was very helpful! He had superb customer service!!  The property is a hidden gem! It is such a beautiful property. Great location and less then a 8 minute walk to the beach.

I didn’t like that they didn’t have a front desk person. It’s a inconvenience to have to go next door for service.

beautiful place, nice staff. the location is very convenient, near the beach and ocean drive. many restaurants close by.

no USB chargers, the floor was dirty, the bed linen was clean but it was time to replace it, the remaining stains are not attractive! the towels were clean, but also in someone's hair.

The location was great and the room was a suite so it was large.

No elevator so luckily my husband was able to carry the luggage up and down the stairs. We had our son traveling with us so paid for a suite for 3 but there were only towels for 2 and the sofa bed was not made so I had to walk to the office to get those items.
