this has to be one of the best located hotels in Florida - the views are exceptional and the brief walk to St Armand circle ideal

this is an older Holiday Inn hotel and is in need of a makeover - the rooms and en-suite bathrooms definitely need an upgrade - the staff keep the rooms very clean, the sheets and towels are pristine but the hotel is a bit jaded…

The location is perfect and we love the staff. This was the second trip in 3 months.

It wasn’t the property as much as the menu had changed. The food was so good 3 months prior. It was still good but the breakfast menu was gone and only buffet was available. Again the staff was amazing.

I was so worried based on all the reviews - but couldn’t have been happier when we arrived to the hotel. Every room is a view room. We had a gorgeous view of the city. Easy and fun walk to Armand square. Beds were extremely comfortable. The hotel staff was friendly and everything was just perfect. I will always stay here when I come tobSarasota! The best!

Housekeeping and staff was great!! Location of beautiful beach right across street, 5 minute safe walk to St Armbands Circle with shops and lots of restaurants. Highly recommend them!! Hotel offered free shuttle service to St Armand's if u don't want to walk. Free coffee and snacks everyday. Free pool towels. Pool was still being updated and is small but very clean. Tiki bar has very reasonably priced $10 drinks which u can take to beach. Can have groceries delivered but be sure to check items before delivery person leaves. Also beach lounge chairs and umbrellas are avaible for modest price!!

I was hoping for close public transportation to see more of Sarasota. At first glance of ad is that breakfast is included to guests which it isn't. But no biggie!!

This was a great find! Recently renovated so clean and fresh with large rooms. We loved the beach/ocean view sunsets from our room. Only a 1/4 mile walk to be on St. Armand's Circle to enjoy plenty of food, drink and shopping. The pool was in nice condition and the bar staff for snacks and drinks there was excellent.

Beach chairs and umbrellas are not part of this resort so plan accordingly. There is a person providing rentals across the street but it's a limited quantity. If you're staying longer than two days you should just buy your own on the way into town.

Hotel located overlooking Sarasota beach we stayed in a beach front room. Car park available at rear of property. Hotel is a short walk to St Armands with its restaurants and shops. Breakfast on the 7th floor was excellent in particular the cooked to order options.

Bathroom was small and needed updating. More umbrellas around pool would help the lack of natural shade from trees .

when we checked into our room and wanted to go out on our balcony , we found the handle was broken and the door was extremely hard to open and close! we called down to the front desk and Ruben brought us our microwave age oven and fixed the door! Both Kayla(aka Kay 2😊) and Ruben , from maintenance could not have been more courteous and helpful! Jaime( spelling?) also was very helpful informing us about the free shuttle ! it was Cinco de Mayo and he told us about a nice Mexican Restaurant !

the room bathroom were run down, the air conditioner don’t work under 69 degrees and that’s hot for people like me that are coming from New Jersey. was extremely hot to sleep at night. we open the balcony at night. the shower head is in the middle of the bathroom I’m 5’7 very average and I had to put my head down and bend over in order to be able to get water into my head. like how a gentleman above that high will shower comfortable. very weird.
