Staff was nice. They gave us Cookies and complimentary water. The breakfast was pretty decent. The bed was comfy and the room got nice and cool. It's also located close to the historical district which is a plus.

The staff took FOREVER to answer their phones though. That needs work. The breakfast was ok but I saw lots of gnats around the berries, yogurt, and pastries. I wish the berries and yogurt were covered like the other food and I didn't try the pastries because of that as well. I picked up a strawberry and there was a dead gnat there. They should have coverage for all of the food. I can see the bananas and oranges not being covered. Paying for parking was pretty ridiculous considering the prices of the rooms.

I have to say, every staff member I encountered was friendly and helpful. When things were super busy in the restaurant, team members backed each other up and provided excellent customer service. It is obvious, from check in to check out, that this hotel has a great team. Maintenance was especially helpful, replacing our nonworking refrigerator immediately. When we got to our room, it was at the beginning of the hallway and I was dreading the noise, but was pleasantly surprised when things were pretty quiet for the most part. And you know, there's the cookie. : )

Very minor issues! Eggs in the restaurant would have been better if they were able to be kept warm, they were pretty gross cold. Also, refrigerator was inside a cabinet, so you have to open a door that swings left and then the refrigerator door swings right. Not sure why it has to be inside a cabinet. Possibly why it stopped working and had to be replaced? Also, parking is a bit pricey.

The room was comfortable, spacious and well-appointed. This location is central to the historic district and parking was adequate and close to the entrance.

I didn't like the extra charge on check in of $25.00 for "amenities and parking". That should be listed on Booking.com for full disclosure. Also, I could not get on the hotel WIFI; it kept telling me my name and room number were not recognized. It was late at night when I tried and I didn't feel like calling the front desk to discuss it, so I just skipped it. Also, the Booking.com reservation number didn't mean anything to the hotel when I called them, and they had to do quite a search to find my reservation. That was inconvenient.

Location. Near trolley. In front of Misión Nombre de Dios, beautiful place. Nice Staff but a little understaffed Easy Parking We think come back

.The housekeeper is super nice but this hotel has it only when you ask for it as something special, (so no coffee refill) although we found the employee and she was so good and kind! I don't remember her name from that helpful Cuban girl so nice. .6 key no working when we check in

The staff here we're all friendly, helpful and professional, without exception. The room was comfortable and spotlessly clean.

We left some items in our room and only realised once we'd travelled to a different location around 120 miles away. I found contacting the hotel was virtually impossible, being placed in a queue of more than 30 mins, waiting to speak to a member of staff on the phone, then getting cut off and having to queue again....and this was at 9pm. A better way to contact the hotel directly would have been appreciated.

The property is in a great location, convenient walk to the historic district and tourist sights. We didn't have any noise in the evening. I'd recommend staying at the Doubletree and will definitely stay again when we return.

No concerns at all. Parking wasn't an issue and we never moved the car after we parked for the weekend.

The location was great. Easily walkable to many attractions. Staff was terrific; Brandon at the desk and Paula at the bar were great. Breakfast was enjoyable.

The only thing that wasn’t perfect was the fact that a hurricane was approaching and most stores and restaurants were closed.

The location is great! Everything in walking distance. The room was outstanding! We loved the comfort of the bed, and pillows, not to mention the room itself was very clean and cozy. Bathroom was very large, and wheelchair accessible which is a great bonus for those who need it. It also had a doorbell for both hearing and visually impaired. An exceptional staff onboard to say the least. I couldn't have asked for a better group of staff members to make our stay outstanding! I forgot my wedding boots in the room at checkout, and they hooked me up with a shipping company to get my boots back to me in a couple days. Worth the cost of shipping, rather than having to drive hours back to location to pick them up. We will definitely stay at this location again in the future! I highly recommend this DoubleTree By Hilton. The best "staycation" we've had in years. ***** 5 STARS!

I really can't say we were unhappy with anything. If I had to say one thing, it would only be that I would love to have been able to ride the bikes after dusk to see the holiday lights. They have to be returned by dark due to not having lights on them. I completely understand though, and it didn't cause a problem or make us unhappy at all.

It was convenient to where we wanted to be.

The room needs to be detail clean. The table had food residue that I had to clean and the rug by the tv corner had a painted finger nail. There should be a microwave for the price.

Taps at the front desk was wonderful. He always had a smile on his face and was so helpful and kind. Also there was free warm cookies every afternoon!

The beds were hard and housekeeping kept leaving only 3 sets of towels when we had 4 people in the room. A/C leaked on the carpet causing everything to feel damp.
