Amazing location, close to convenience stores, grocery, pharmacy, restaurants. The walk down to the beach is also very convenient, compared to some other spots I’ve stayed on the same beach. Staff is very friendly and helpful and professional. Room is simple and comfortable, clean. Fun 1950’s (?) themed decor. All sorts of great games to play outside in the common areas. Very pleasant and enjoyable overall.

The wristbands that all guests are required to wear are understandable in their function, but tiresome for my family and I to tolerate. For a brief period of time, perhaps,(think a trip to the fair, or a concert), but not for a period of days and nights at the beach. Not a huge issue, but annoying.

This tiny family run motel is in an amazing location - right on the beach. We’re not from this area and found the very small dilapidated “efficiency” room to be extremely overpriced, and I assume we just paid for location. 3 people were a tight fit. The bathroom was so tiny. The kitchenette was the smallest I think we’ve ever had, and everything is old. The pix online are misleading. That said, the staff tries hard to provide good service. They have many small games onsite that somehow qualify this as a “resort”. If you have young children I think you’d really enjoy this place - up to about 12-13. It was less engaging to adults and a teen.

For people unfamiliar with the area, St Pete’s is an incredibly busy tourist area, zero quiet, every restaurant long lines, loads of traffic. Drunk people. Just unpleasant. We’re on the east coast of FL now, near Jupiter and Juno and it’s much nicer.

Great location, pool and bar next to the beach. Very nicely decorated in 60's style. Convenient for grocery and restaurants. It was nice to have kitchen area with real dishes and appliances so we could save a little money on eating out. I really appreciate that they encourage and help you be kind to the environment. There were 2 other locations that we could have visited with other amenities had we the time, but glad it was available. Many comfy areas around the property to gather in small groups to eat, play or visit. We were smack dab in the middle of the Brass Monkey (great beach area for shell hunting) and the Toasted Monkey (live bands!) Bravo Plaza Beach.

Maybe time to replace the matress on the first bed in 205! It would be great if they offered beach chair rental similar to their beach towel rental. You pay a fee but it is refunded when you return the chair or the towel.

The staff is outstanding. They were very nice, very responsive, and actively engaged in making our stay enjoyable. They also helped us navigate the decision on when to leave due to Hurricane Ian. They kept us informed and made sure we knew they would support and reimburse us whenever we decided to leave. We felt like we were welcomed guests that had been coming there for years and they treated us like friends or family members. The location is outstanding too and you can walk right out onto the beach. The beach right outside the hotel is very nice and private. The room was functional and had nice amenities like a full-sized refrigerator. There is a Publix grocery store across the street and a nice CVS Pharmacy with regular drug store items and lots of beach stuff.

The property has been part of St Pete Beach for a long time so it is a little dated. However, they keep it very clean and everything is maintained well. We felt like it was a good trade-off to save a little money and have such a great location even if it wasn't the most modern-looking hotel. They even lean into it being old by having a "50's" kind of theme with a front desk that is a 57 Chevy Grill. The AC wasn't super cold but it kept things cool enough to be comfortable. The internet for us was not great but that could have been our phones too.

Great location. Pool was really close to the room they put us in and the premises is on the beach; they provide you beach chairs you can sit for free for the sunset, and a discount to rent an umbrella with chairs or cabanas on the beach. A really nice tiki bar, volleyball courts and a lot of game you can play with the kids or grown-ups. Anything you need is nearby.

The booking says "Oceanview ", while it's partly Oceanview.. view to the parking and the ocean from the side rooms.. Oceanview are only 2 front rooms with a balcony towards the ocean. I didn't even have that choice given. 😕 There was nowhere we could hang our wet bathing suites and towels to dry, only on the 2 chairs given outside our room. Bathroom was too small for a 4 member family, but we managed good with two small kids.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this family friendly beach resort. The staff was very friendly. The room was perfect for my family of 4 and the kitchenette was fully equipped with all cooking accessories. The grounds were very pretty with plenty of outdoor games and seating areas. The pool was nice with plenty of chairs and the volleyball area was nice. They even had a little area for small kids to play with toys in the sand. Will definitely book again.

The only tiny thing I didn't like was the pool closing at sunset. The usual 9 pm would be nice.

Very little toilet paper when checked in. Had to go to office to find some. Not a fan of no maid service during stay

nice beach front hotel with a cool vibe! price wise great for the area. Publix across the street to get groceries for breakfast. kitchen was equipped with everything you need. the beach volleyball fields are great and in perfect conditions!! great for people that actually play serious beach volleyball. :)

the staff at the bar wasn’t super friendly and sometimes even rude on bringing your own beverage or “touching” the volleyball net. even though i think this was the best hotel we stayed in in Florida i still I found Florida quiet overpriced for what you get in general!

the staff were great, the room was clean and the property was quiet. It is a cool little place right close to everything on SPB. I would definitely stay here again.

I am a pretty easy going guy so nothing stuck out to me that I would change. Keep in mind this has been a tourist destination as far back as the 50’s so don’t expect high-end hotels. This hotel is priced very fairly given the age of the hotel.
