This property is on my husband’s favorite beach, so I booked it for our 1 year anniversary. The room was great (shower was incredible), staff was friendly, and the location was perfect!

This place is amazing--Old Florida at it's best. We were in a Bay Side 1 bedroom, right next to the pool which was great. A short walk across the street to the beach. Sunsets were spectacular! Staff was very nice and helpful. Loved the central air and ceiling fans.

There was not much that I did not like. This is an older resort. If you are looking for brand new perfection, this place may not be for you.

The condo was exactly as described. Located on the channel right across the street from the beach. The attendant at the Casey Key Retreat was so helpful and the condo was large enough. We loved being right on the beach and close to walk to a couple of restaurants. The beach was lovely The beds were comfortable. The living room furniture was newer and the kitchen was good size and had plenty of dishes.

The unit was not as clean as it could be. The walls need to be washed and there was mildew in the shower stall and on the shower curtain, but nothing that would prevent me from returning.

This property was not what I thought I was booking. I believed I was getting a bungalow not a motel room accommodation. I thought we were getting a private patio area as well. So, we were surprised when we first arrived. The room is small but compact and had what we needed. Staff were very nice and helpful. The restaurant called Pop’s Grill was excellent. We really enjoyed the beach and Gulf.

We really didn’t dislike anything but things you should know if booking at this place. Bring your own beach chairs, umbrellas as there are none provided. Bring your Shampoo and Conditioner and coffee supplies.

Everything was lovely including the staff.

My only complaint is that there seemed to be a meed to change the air filter (could be wrong) my sister and i had allergies whenever we were in the room with the ac running.

The room was very comfortable and clean for us. The kitchen was well stocked. I particularly liked having 2 couches. The grounds were cute and we were not far from the beach at all. We also liked the canal in the back where we could go sit and read if we wanted to. The front desk was extremely helpful and friendly. We would definitely stay here again!

The bathroom was very small. What I have found with many rental properties is that there are very few hooks for hanging towels, clothes, etc in the bathroom and shower. Other than that, this property was awesome.

The location of this property is fantastic. It's right on the beach in a quiet and peaceful area and yet just a short walk to great restaurants across the bridge (Pelican Alley and Pop's Sunset Grill). We initially booked a one-bedroom bayside room but decided to upgrade to the beach side on our second day. And I'm so glad we did. We had room 14 and the view of the ocean was just spectacular. We walked on the beach each morning and watched amazing sunsets every night.

The only thing that could have been better was the cleanliness of the room. I grew up in Florida and have stayed in plenty of older beachfront properties and this is pretty much the norm. It's nearly impossible to keep tile floors at the beach squeaky clean. And the salt air gets to everything from wood to door handles. It didn't affect our stay and the affordable rate still makes this property an exceptional value for the location. We would absolutely stay here again.

This place exceeded my expectations -- the staff were friendly and knowledgeable and the beach was fantastic. I have never seen such beautiful sunsets in all my life. It was easy to get to and is in a perfect location -- near a fantastic restaurant Pelican Alley -- and the room is just a few steps out the door and right down a path to the beach. Very quiet and relaxing. One of the better vacations that I've had in the USA.

We loved the location and old school Florida feel of the property and area. The staff were incredibly accommodating to any questions or requests we had. You can walk to a couple of dining and drinking spots while still feeling "off the beaten path."

Was a very pleasant experience, it was a beautiful day spending time with my husband searching for sharks teeth 😀
