Location was great, the staff was friendly, and the lobby always had coffee. Minimal wait for the elevator during a very busy weekend. The hotel’s parking was close and they validated my parking at a great rate compared to what I would have paid to park otherwise.

My rate was a lot higher than my stay the previous year for the same event, with the staff friendliness being the only real improvement in that time.

The staff were just fantastic and made me feel quite welcome. Offered suggestions of places to eat. Room was clean and the perfect size. I did have an issue with the tiolet and the gentleman with maintenance came right up, accessed the problem and let me know how long it would take him to make the repair. He was timely and it was fixed. Hotel is undergoing a change in ownership I believe and they are remodeling the lobby and the rooms. You do park across the street in a parking garage which is an additional fee of $18 per day (special rate for the Barclay) but you can go out and in as much as you'd like. That is a very reasonable fee considering what the garage rates are on a daily which is $45 per day. Great location to the arena and half the cost. A Lyft ride was about $10 to the arena and certainly within walking distance but it was 26 degrees outside.

My only comment is that there were no valet carts available to use since the lobby was being tiled as part of the renovations going on. Understandably, it was not possible to have those carts rolling over the newly laid tile. Staff were more than willing to assist us in carrying our bags upstairs.

Extremely well located to attend events in the Mercedes stadium, Hilton or the congress centre. Also very close to the aquarium ! Near the train station too. Awesome staff.

No room cleaning during the stay

The staff was amazing! They were so quick with helping and fixing any problems we had!

The elevator went out one day and we had to walk up the 6 flights of stairs. The breakfast was just dry danishes and oatmeal.

The location was perfect and I loved the balcony where I could sit at night and watch the horse and carriage up and down the street. The room with a double bed was very roomy.

Terrific, friendly, helpful, welcoming staff. I have never been treated so well by any hotel staff in all my years of travel. The location is top-notch: Close to everything downtown, and only 20 minutes from the airport. The hotel was quiet on a Friday night. That was excellent and appreciated. The hotel is being updated, so I'm sure those changes will improve my only negative impression of the hotel (which is that the furnishing and fixtures are dated).

The hotel is dated, with furnishings that could use a refresh. The desk chair in my room, for instance, had a sizeable burn hole in the cushion from a previous guest.

The breakfast was somewhat alright. Although I didn't had the time to eat breakfast. The location of it was downstairs and I was upstairs. So it wasn't convient for me

A good view of downtown would have been so nice to see.

We loved how central and homely it was. The whole place had such a nice smell, felt like heaven !

Leaving broke our hearts, we would have loved to live there forever

It's very convenient to get famous places to visit.

One day afternoon when I came back in lobby , I smelled something strange and it made me feel uncomfortable.

The closeness to the convention center. The quietness and the staff were both really nice too.

I did have to get my room key recharged or replaced probably around 5 times during my stay because it would just stop working.
