Had a king room. Booked the smoking room first but went to change it when we walked in and it smelled like smoke. Obviously I looked like an idiot trying to change it, but the guy at the desk was cool about it and let us change. The new room smelled great. The bed was so comfortable I hated getting up in the mornings. When we turned the TV and lights off and closed the shades, it was pitch black. And quiet. Water pressure was good and got hot fast. TV worked well and had a lot of channels. The fridge actually has a freezer part which was cool. It came with a microwave. The location is perfect. It's literally right across the street from the Walmart and on the main strip. The owner was super accommodating. Every time we called down, he came and helped us out. Great guy, real chill. We saw he was short on staff and was doing most of the work so we made sure to clean up as much as we could and pull the trash, but he insisted on handling it and made sure our stay was as comfortable and accommodating as possible. Parking was great. And I love Milledgeville! I was on a budget and my expectations were exceeded
Towels could've been thicker, but I could've brought my own towels like my girl did lol

The outdoor landscaping was nice, and the air conditioner/heater unit worked well.
Bathroom floor was dirty, refrigerator was sweating inside, and freezer needed defrosting so badly you could not store ice packs. It could use some new lamps with USB cable plug ins.

The staff, housekeeping specifically, was very annoying and wouldn’t leave us alone. They came knocking on the door at 9 am and knocked several times even after we said we’d be out shortly.
