Room was fine. Staff was outstanding, especially Stephanie, who was extremely courteous and helped us on several occasions. She gets top marks (A++).

We were really disappointed with the breakfast. My wife always prefers to book at hotels that offer free breakfast -- specifically, free hot breakfast, not a free "continental" breakfast. Wingate advertizes free breakfast. On arrival, we were told they had a "robust" breakfast with "bacon and eggs." Neither was available on either of the two mornings we were there. The only hot (warm) items were chicken or sausage muffins or croissants. Hampton Inn and others like it offer a much better breakfast, which for us is kind of a deal breaker.

Disappointing breakfast

Although my room arrangements was not honored as requested, The room and cleaning staff were great. They were friendly and respectful. The District Manager Mori and a few of the front desk people were dishonest and didn’t truly fully credit my reward points despite me going down 4 times and leaving my information. She asked for my wyndam rewards point number that I left 3 times in person. The points were NEVER posted as told by Mori. I will follow up with corporate and hope to not get the run around.

I’m sure that the information that I gave was never passed on which is why I spoke to several other desk members who were more professional.

The bed was so comfortable. I have stayed in5 star hotels traveling for work. None of those beds were more comfortable. Our room was really quiet and very spacious. Did I forget to mention how clean it was? We enjoyed looking for the gators in the lake. Finally spotted 2 the morning we left. If you want a great breakfast you do need to go out to eat. The biscuits were dry and the sausage and chicken tasted like processed meat. There were waffles, that were good. And the selection of muffins and pastries were varied. All in all, we plan to stay again.

I loved the location by the lake, it was relatively peaceful, with some shops and a restaurant within walking distance. The pool was nice, and the beds were meltingly comfortable. Free breakfast is always welcome and the pre-made breakfast sandwiches were a nice touch.

As some other reviewers have noted, the carpet was quite sticky in one of the two rooms I stayed in and so socks were needed. Old spilt drinks near fridge it seems, but it would be good for that type of spill to be cleaned before next guests. Also, while free breakfast is great, disposable cutlery and plates and pre-wrapped everything made the experience less great. Finally, so much lovely lakeside but no where to sit outside and enjoy the space or stroll, except in pool area.

Nice hotel..will stay again. Pros: location- 4 minutes from airport. Outlet stores, grocery stores, shopping and lots of restaurants of every kind nearby. Freeway to get everywhere just a few minutes away. Very clean! Not a hair or anything else in sight and Ive cleaned so I look. Clean floors and clean bedding. Best bed ever. I spent nearly an entire rainy day in it! Check in easy peasy..Decent breakfast. Friendly staff!

Cons: very thin walls. Slamming doors were so loud. Hot water in shower was minimal. No USB adapter plugs for chargers. No satellite or streaming TV. No biggie for me though.

Clean, warm and inviting upon entrance. Reception area was very nice and the desk staff was efficient, friendly and personable. Complimented me on my snowflake necklace since it was the week leading up to Christmas. He was also very quick to give us a toothbrush since my grandson had forgotten his. I was traveling with my twenty year old grandson and I felt very safe and secure on the premises. We stayed there because we had an early flight out in the morning and it was less than three minutes to the airport parking garage. I occasionally stay at a hotel close to the airport if I have an early flight since I live about an hour away from the airport. I wasn’t especially satisfied with the two other hotels I had stayed at before whether it was price, cleanliness, small in hotel amenities and snacks available for purchase or having just bottled water or ice on premises, etc. This one fit all my preferences and will be my go to from now on….and it comes with a free breakfast which promptly began on time and had muffins, waffles, fresh fruit, coffee and breakfast sandwiches ready to go. Great place to stay!

I loved it that you could get milk, yogurt, fruit, tea and coffee at any time. The coffee was good quality and I liked that breakfast sandwiches were pre-wrapped for grab and go. The room was comfy, especially the pillows.

The TV wasn't great. I couldn't get the guide to show and the sound was somewhat muffled. The bathroom door had some flaking paint across the bottom on both sides.

Bed was comfortable and room was large. Front desk staff were very polite and respectful.

Could have had better selection of breakfast staying longer than a couple days and only having the same few options every day is kind of boring. Also the ladies in charge of the breakfast area got extremely rude the very first morning over a little bit of spilled dry cereal on the floor

The location was great. Several fast food and sit down restaurants close by. The beds were so comfortable! And I never find that…and I travel a lot. Missed breakfast so I can’t speak on that. But the room was great, clean, didn’t smell like bleach, easy and smooth check in. Plenty of parking.

The floors creaked very easily. You couldn’t walk without the room beneath hearing you. We heard the room above walking around.
