our room on 6th floor room 606 had ocean view. Beautiful balcony, with sliders opening all the way for full view. Pools and short path to the beach.

unfortunately the ocean view pool closed on our second day for major repairs. not completed till Oct 2022. There is only 1 Resturant and bar on-site. Not far to walk across the street, grocery store, some pizza, shaved ice and food trucks in the evening.

The condo was very clean, great view and location. We had a unit right above one of the pools and could see the ocean from our lanai

The kitchen was lacking in some items. No vegetable peeler. Had to call the desk to get a large fry pan, a baking sheet and a broiler pan. The toaster was very old and very basic Proctor Silex that wouldn’t raise the toast up properly. A newer model that worked well was brought to our room. No coffee filters in kitchen Ice maker is very old in unit 745. Twice we had to have ice delivered to our room. This unit needs a new refrigerator. Had to call for extra blankets. A/c unit was hard to regulate the temperature so we turned it off during the day and left the lanai doors open. Other units that our family members stayed in were much nicer.

The outdoor area is great. Both pools were never too busy, plus access to the beach is only steps away.

Decor is slightly dated, but it’s not a big deal.

Great location, just outside Lahaina, tons of food nearby, great beach adjacent to the property and to the south too, easy walk to the “main” part of Ka’anapali, design of the building is great, most all rooms face inward to the courtyard/pools, multiple pools, great drinks from the restaurant, competitively priced food onsite, permanent food truck lot next door, unlimited coffee and most of the small stuff you need for your room provided, each room had a tv, we took our Firestick and used it on the biggest TV for late nite home-style tv.

Not much to not like.

Large, comfortable suites outfitted with ample cooking supplies. The two pools were large and never overly crowded. The on-site sundries store and “free” DVD rentals were good perks. The shower pressure was almost too good.

It isn’t necessarily a dislike, but a word of warning: a resort like this is only really worth the money if you’ll be *at* the resort most of your stay—this includes spending most days at the pool, participating in the daily “free” activities, and cooking many meals in the room. Otherwise, you’re paying a daily resort fee (in addition to the room cost) for access to things you aren’t using (like the DVD rentals or scuba lessons, etc). The only real dislike I have is that the resort’s beach was not very good for swimming, and you needed to drive down to Kaanapali Beach for a safer/more inviting beach experience.

The room was great, huge and spacious, a whole kitchen, large living room and washer dryer, could see the beach from the balcony. Two minute walk to the beach. Two pools available. Rental of beach equipment like snorkels was fairly priced, good quality equipment. Very impressed with the welcome package. Lots of activities for guests. Staff very kind. Beautiful beach, saw turtles swimming right off shore

The pools weren't heated and were cold, the pool bottom if the garden pool was so sharp it tore skin off my feet whike walking around. The restaurant downstairs was incredibly overpriced for extremely mediocre, subpar food. The bar was no better, very weak drinks for how expensive they were. The room was not worth 500 dollars a night. I was told we were going to receive leis upon arriving and was disappointed that did not happen. Requested a blanket one night and never received it, had to go back down the next day and request again. Would not pay more than 250-300 for that room, would not come back next time.

The resort was comfortable and within a short 5 minute walk to the local car rentals, local food trucks with delicious food, supermarket and boardwalk. The boardwalk is a walk along the beach across several resorts leading to the Whalers village The whales village is a pretty place but filled with high end stores from Sephora to Calvin Klein. We preferred going to Lahaina which was filled with pretty small stores, lots of restaurants, eateries and shops with the local craft at a much lower rate than what you would get in resort gift shops The beaches are divine and just amazing to see a variety of colourful fishes swimming in the shallow waters as well. The haleakala sunrise left us awestruck but later got to know that we were lucky to get it and many others don't get to see it of the skies are overcast by clouds. The 250 usd we paid per person was worth it. Also this place is 10000 ft above sealevel with breathtaking views however it is super cold and windy so be prepared with warm clothing and layering up. We went with Skyline tours arranged by the resort. Overall worth a visit ..just be prepared to wake up at 1.30am to leave for the peak. The Laua at Royal Lahaina was good. Dancers were brilliant. Food was OK and the pork was only shown but not served. Alcohol was unlimited. Overall staff are very courteous and filled with Aloha. The concierge were super helpful.

It was great however they fell short fall of key cards when we checked in. We got one more the next day though we were a family of 4 using the studio. It would be nice if the free tram would come till the hotel. Lots of things like snorkeling gear etc are charged extra.

Nice view from room, though only of grounds. Restaurants close to the beach, with good food. Beach was small by area standards but nice, low traffic, enjoyable and relaxing. All staff encountered very friendly and helpful.

Bedroom on an open walkway providing no views on any kind, plus reduced privacy . AC control didn’t work properly, either too cold or too hot. Overall appearance dated and drab, but clean. Parking can be a challenge.

The beach access was great. The room was adequate for the cost and the pool was wonderful. The ocean side pool was closed for resurfacing, so we didn't get a chance to use it. The men at the front gate checking cars were always cheerful and smiling. We appreciated their kindness

The lady at the concierge desk was short and condescending. It's really important that travelers feel welcomed and appreciated when they've come a long way from circumstances unknown to staff. We felt herded and like our questions were beneath her. I don't know if by this time of year staff is just tired of travelers or if folks have been unkind to them and they shield themselves from feeling anything and just process the order. Life is hard, but kindness changes everything!

Loved the pools and proximity to the beach room was comfortable and when we realized there was construction happening right next to our room, they quickly asked us if we wanted to relocate. It was quick and seamless. Very happy with the service as we have a little one who needs to rest in the afternoons. Also enjoyed all the live music - maybe have it more nights!
