Location, beach and ambience could not be better. Compared to the hysterical places south of black rock, this property is a haven of peace and chill. This is also one of few hotels where the public promenade pass behind and not in front of the hotel.

Unfortunately quality of service doesn’t seem to have recovered after covid. We stayed 4 nights and room cleaning was not included, not even vacuuming of floor in room. On arrival staff advertised hot cocoa for kids in the morning, but then this was out of stock every day. Service in restaurant also not matching price of food items. Regardless we would visit again any time, the location, property and vibe trumps the service

My dads room had a full kitchen and outdoor patio and table. Our room only had a fridge but was cheaper so that’s fine. Our first room was next to a room they were remodeling and construction didn’t start till later, but since we were on vacation we wanted to sleep in so they accommodated us and moved our room. The resort is beautiful. We spent most days just lounging in beach chairs and looking at the ocean. Bonus: it was whale season.

We checked out of our room on time, but wanted to hang out on the patio for a couple hours since our flight wasn’t till later, but a manager came and told us we had to leave. I would’ve appreciated it if they’d let us just hang out for a bit.

Really nice property with amazing beach (we saw whales breaching at the end of April!) and well maintained gardens. Good amenities and lots of parking. Spacious rooms which were well equipped. Comfortable bed.

The only downside of this place is the noise transfer from room to room is terrible. You can hear everything your neighbours are doing - my advice would be to request a second floor room, so you don't have anyone above you.

I like sitting on the beachfront lawn area during sunset. It was beautiful and relaxing after a day of sports. The staff who lit up the flames even offer to help us take pictures. He used his flashlight to counter the backlighting problem. turns out It was a very good sunset photo. The kitchen is well-equpied and spacious.

Booking.com set the rent too high. We end up being upgraded. Thanks to the lady who saw what we had paid. We will advise friends to book accommodation directly at their websites.

The location of the property in relation to Lahaina and Maui in general was excellent. It fronted the beach on the Western side of Maui.

Parking was a continuous problem. Spaces were generally further away from the unit than I would have liked. Also, whereas the restaurant on the property was good, it closed early on the weekdays, 9:00 PM.

Best value in Kaanapali Beach. Fantastic pool, clean, nice beach.

Nice spacous room with little patio, perfect location on ground floor near pool and beach. Other hotels area give great options for dining. Very nice beach.

Check In was a clown show. Room was ready late and there was nothing to do for a couple of hours in the rain. No one seemed to know what was going on. Given that people are tired from flying in from long distances and arriving during the early afternoon you would think that they would understand that having a room ready after 4:00 is really not a great plan. The resteraunt was very poor with limited menu and bland food - I can cook a lot better than this

I like the spaciousness of the condo and the amenities at the resort. We had access to two pools and hot tubs. The beach was a short distance from our room and was always accessible and clean. We enjoyed having a restaurant on site that also did room service. It allowed us to just focus on relaxing and not worrying about finding and then driving to a spot outside of the resort for a meal. Their food was always delicious!

The rooms were not cleaned everyday so that was different. Items like shampoo and conditioner were almost empty bottles. Good thing we brought our own.

First of all - I was a bit shocked when I started researching hotel rooms in Maui for my recent stay.....I couldn't believe how expensive every single place was! I stumbled upon the MKV through Booking.com and went ahead and made a reservation. It was more affordable than most other places AND there was free cancellation until 3 days before our arrival. This was important to me. Anyway, I just returned home tonite after a week's stay and every single aspect of it was superb....Check in was a breeze (and we got a bit of an upgrade to a Garden View room- with a full kitchen), our room was very comfortable and spacious (a bit dated, but that didn't bother us so much), the grounds were immaculate, parking was convenient and just steps from our room, it was a quick walk to the beach and beachwalk, the location was amazing, and our limited interactions with staff were all great. Our room was very close to the smaller of the two pools, so we spent all of our pool time there. The hot tub was fabulous, and looked to be newly renovated. I walked all up and down the Beach Walk among all the various resorts, and I have to say I really enjoyed the MKV...it was low key with a good mix of people, easy to navigate, not fancy and overwhelming (hello, Westin!), comfortable with all the perks that matter to me (lounge chairs on the grass right above the beach, pool and hot tub, easy parking, etc). Oh - and the Castaway Cafe was lovely!

The only real complaint I have is the daily weed whacking which starts around 8am.....Each day I would make my coffee and sit out on the patio but was greeted by the weed whacking almost every single day (except for maybe Sunday). the grounds were perfect and gorgeous but is this necessary?
