We stayed at the Cod Cove Inn with family at a visit to the Gardens Aglow. The Inn is conveniently located to the gardens. They permitted dogs in rooms specifically planned and designed to accommodate them which worked perfectly. The rooms were so comfortable and clean, Nick at the front desk was so welcoming and did everything to make our stay so nice. I definitely recommend the Inn and hope to plan another summertime visit!

There was nothing at all wrong.

The Inn is cute and conveniently located. The manager of the Inn seemed to be running the whole place by himself, but was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was pretty good, coffee was hot and they had a waffle maker, fresh muffins, and some healthy options as well. We stayed on NYE and everything was clean & quiet.

The only con I experienced was the check in / check out process being a little awkward. The manager left a cellphone number at the desk you had to call to try and get him to come to the office. I also never received a summarized bill with the room charges on it, however he was very friendly and helpful once we got ahold of him.

Nice location with a nice view, even though the river is a bit distant. Facilities were nice and clean, room quite large and comfortable. Grounds well managed and spotless.

Although this is a nice area, walking around for exercise in the immediate vicinity is problematic as it consists of major roads through forests that have limited shoulder widths. Some nice parks within 10 minutes driving distance solved my problem, but this of course assumes you have a car handy.

The location was great. We expected it to be a B&B but it was more a motel then a B&B The breakfast was typical hotel set up including the now famous waffle maker. The muffins were nice

they were in the midst of replacing some of the furniture in the room which will be an improvement so you can put things in drawers instead of living out of a suitcase

That there wasn't someone at the desk at all times while open. I don't always carry my phone so when I needed something and went to ask, I couldn't because there was a note saying to just call and someone would answer.

Nothing really. There are no elevators and we were on the second floor so a bit of a hike up with luggage, but no real problem.

The location and the land around hotel was very pretty. The room was done up quaint. It would be more bang for your buck to stay more than one night. it is set up more as a stay for a week and enjoy the area. pool was still open (beginning of Oct) and heated. some guest took advantage of it the night we were there. Staff went out of their way to help turn the room into handicap accessible which is what we’re were expecting. we made do but not without issues. We did receive bottles of waters and bags of snacks upon arrival. A big deal since all restaurants nearby were closed by 8pm.

Expecting handicap accessible room but not available… too late to locate another place. HOWEVER it needs to be said they went to store and pick up hand bars for tub and installed for us and put down ramp to access room. Kudos for those items. Room was big enough but bathroom not at all. It was very small. hardly room to close door while in the room. had to step to side of toilet to close door.

Breakfast was simple and warm. Muffins were also warm and delicious! Facilities were exceptionally clean. Manager took extra time to make sure our rooms were satisfactory since there was a mix up in reservations.

Booking.com messed up the reservations, putting us in different rooms each night, but the manager made every effort to reconcile this. Lots of traffic noise, but only during the day.

More protein choices for breakfast would be nice The bathroom mirror is small & located too high on the wall making it hard for a short person to see themselves

Amanda was welcoming and very kind. She is a wonderful asset. Last time I was there the man was unwelcoming and rude. He needed to take a class in hospitality!

The decor. The curtains were nice but clashed with the excessive patterns. Mainly the rug was a terrible pattern.
