Good location

We were in Chestertown for a special event which required us to leave the property at 7:00am on Saturday and Sunday. A staff member said that although we could not get a hot breakfast which starts at 7:00am we would be able to get some cold items before 7:00 am. On Saturday this was correct but when we came down to do the same on Sunday the door was locked and were told by a staff member that we would have to wait till 7:00am. This seemed petty and caused us to go hungry especially as we had been told otherwise.

The breakfast was great! I always want a big breakfast to get me through my day! Yours was perfect!!

There really was not anything I would change. The staff were totally helpful when my relative ended up going to the hospital and my sister in law came in from Virginia, I was able to let her stay with me and then I was able to book her into my room when I checked out the following day. It was a smooth transition for us.

The breakfast was fine. The staff were excellent - friendly, accommodating, went out of their way to make sure everything worked for us. Very professional staff. Very impressed with all staff, from housekeeping to front desk to mechanicals.

We had to move rooms twice in our 9 day stay. Once because we asked, once because the staff asked. Wasn't a problem, there was a good reason in both cases. We asked for a walk-in shower and there was a tub in the first room, so we were moved across the hall. The second move was because there were 4 people in wheelchairs who needed two adjoining rooms - one of which we were in. So we were moved to a room in another hall that was actually better than the second room we were in.

Great value, remodeled, pretty sound proof, excellent staff.

This is not the fault of the property. People had taken the luggage carts into their rooms so other guests could not use them. I waited all morning -- apparently, the carts had been taken by people the evening before. To the people who do this: you are grossly inconsiderate of other people, including the hotel staff. Taking luggage carts at a hotel that is full of people is just wrong. If it was an empty hotel, that would be a different story. But this hotel was packed. From one customer to another, you luggage-cart hoarders suck.

Staff accommodated all needs and we’re very friendly. We don’t eat pork and Saturday morning’s breakfast didn’t offer us any meat options. When I came down to get coffee on Sunday morning, the gentleman let me know that he had Turkey bacon available for me! I was very impressed and very appreciative! I haven’t had this type of customer service in a while!!

Room was operating room clean! I'm 65 years old and have traveled the World. This room/hotel had EXACTLY everything I needed/wanted; nothing more, but more importantly, nothing less. Bed was comfortable, bathroom was clean, temperature was good, Wi-Fi was easy to log into. I normally don't bother to climb down off the mountaintop to write reviews; can't be bothered UNLESS a product/service is really good or really bad. This facility punches FAR above its weight class/price point! I'd stay there again in a country minute and pocket the ~$75.00 savings over the higher dollar hotel chains...

I would have liked better control over my room temperature is about it!

Staff was friendly and they had fresh lemon water and cookies at arrival.

HVAC in room was not functioning, but early spring so kept room from getting too hot had to open window. The window didn’t have a screen so we only opened it intermittently and again it was early spring so no bugs.

The breakfast was excellent! All the staff was very friendly and able to answer any questions. They always had a smile!

There needs to be a shuttle to go to the hotel from the airport and to return to the airport back again.

Room was large and clean. I requested a high floor and was given a room on the top floor

The shower pressure was not good. Coffee in the room was terrible. I thought the room was expensive for a hotel in that area without a pool or restaurant/bar.

Property was perfect for our needs. Staff was very friendly. We came on a day that inspection was going on, and the staff handled everything beautifully for such a busy day. If we are ever back in the area we would return to this location.
