Quartus, Tasha and Bill greet you with a smile and make you feel at home. I love the large desk to spread out my work. The bed was comfortable. I slept well which is the most important thing. Loved that I had a bathtub - so rare these days.

The shower was broken so there was not much water pressure from the shower head. All the water went through the faucet at my feet. I prefer a hand held shower head so that you can easily clean yourself properly.

Loved everything. Its my 5th (I believe) stay at this hotel in that many years. Want to give special recognition to Bill at the front desk who bent over backwards to fulfill my request for rooms adjoining/near each other. It was not originally done and he was able to put us across the hall from each other and that was great. One minor thing-the shampoo bottle was new and I could not get it to pump. Ok because I had brought some. May want to double check the pumps when the cleaning service does the rooms.

Just that the pump bottles sometimes do not pump.

Friendly, helpful staff. Clean, quiet rooms. Comfortable beds. Spacious bathrooms and showers.

The price was quite steep for 1 night. I could see if we had a jacuzzi in our room, a full kitchen or something for $220. Breakfasts could be expanded a bit to offer more hot items. More parking for disabled guests would be great too. Non slip shower mats or flooring definitely needs to be incorporated inside the shower but we were only offered a towel to put on the shower floor to minimize a slip and fall?? 😳. Good thing I brought non slip shower shoes.

Food was good. Would have liked more to choose from.

Getting to the hotel is a little difficult as there's only one way into the property and the intersection and railroad make it harder to get in and out of the entrance. A second entrance toward York Rd. would make it much easier for out of town guests to come and go during their stay with you.

Tasha at the front desk was AMAZING! We had a leak in our bathroom and she promptly got us switched to a new room right across the hall. She was so helpful

I am a health food person and not too keen on the white flour and sausage kind of breakfast, but it was okay for what it was, EXCEPT THE COFFEE, which was horrid If you can fill a cup to the brim with coffee and still see the bottom, you know someone does not know how to make coffee. It was like that both mornings.

Oh see above about the coffee.

Breakfast was a pleasant surprise. Lots of options to choose from. Staff I interacted with during my stay were both friendly and welcoming. Bill stood out as he went out of his way to make connections with hotel guests to make them feel welcomed.

Location to fairground and other convenient restaurants and stores

That we only could stay one night. The room was a little smaller than we expected. The ice machine in our flor didn’t work. Our fridge wasn’t working but they let us use the one at the front desk area.

The bed was fabulous! I got 11 hours of uninterrupted sleep.

The breakfast was adequate. I must admit that I got to breakfast at 9:40 am. By then the food had been out for a while and wasn't hot.

Convenient to the highway, good seafood restaurant within walking distance, friendly staff.

Elevators were slow and the number of them was inadequate for the size of the hotel.
