Overall exterior site cleanliness. Hooks in bathroom. In bed area there could be a wall attachment for hanging clothes with a shelf above.

Overall we enjoyed our stay. Great location; Very friendly staff; Room was clean when we arrived; Easily accessible chargers for phones in-between beds; Shower had soap and shampoo in dispensers on wall; & shower/bath was a standard size. Booking includes one parking space. It is a nice value especially for those on a budget. Photo of room should be a panoramic shot.

Minor things to nitpick. The 3rd step going up to the second level by the street has a funny angle. Instead of 90* felt like 110*. Walking up or down that one felt a bit concerning. Door lock could have used a bit of wd-40. It worked, but I had to fight it a bit. Boards walking to the room felt squishy/creaky. They held our weight with no problem, but just a thing to note.

The size of the room was perfect. The ac was nice and cold. The beds were comfortable. The location was nice and close to everything.

The walls were paper thin, the people above us were jumping and stomping all night long. Was hard to fall asleep with all the noise. The pool was so full we wasn't able to use it.

When we got to the room there was a brochure that said a light refreshments/coffee was included with the room. Set my alarm with my daughter to go down early in the A.m. and nobody knew what we were talking about. I got the paper to show them and they still didn’t know what I was talking about. I didn’t want to make a stink so we just left. Location was great, house keeping ladies were very nice, we loved the sun porch.

Steps were falling apart. Dangerous.

Rooms were spacious, clean and affordable. Kitchen was a plus.

Beds weren’t very comfortable. Had to ask for towels, trash bags, toilet paper. Etc.. no room service. We had a guy up stairs above us that blasted music for hours. The noise came straight though the ceiling.

It was spacious and EXTREMELY CLEAN! I have stayed at a few lower price point hotels and along with being old they are dirty. The blue wave inn was exceptionally clean, and it had no mold anywhere. They had a team of cleaning people who upon guests checking out were washing the windows, vacuuming, washing the bed clothes including the quilts. The pool was clean too. The building itself had had repairs done to it so a lot of the photos that showed old icky stuff had all been replaced.

The only downside of our whole stay was that it was boiling hot. So if we turned off the air conditioning in the room for 3 seconds The room turned into an oven but if the air conditioning was on it was freezing cold. Lol. Such a first world problem. They do allow smoking on the balconies so know that smoke may come into your room if you have a smoke allergy. And because it is cheap even though people sign an agreement that they won't smoke in their room they're of course always people who will smoke in there and not care. I will add there was a broken lampshade in our hotel room. It was the only run down thing I saw, and the manager said he had ordered some new ones from the internet but they have yet to show up.

Closer to Bay side about a block and a half from bus stops. Room offers a firm and plush bed. Quiet side of town.

No complaints.

We liked the location of the hotel to the beach. The size of the room was good for 2 people. Also, we liked the chairs that were set outside in front of our room. We were able to go outside and get fresh air as we were talking. Overall, we would come back again.

We were told we were getting a contential breakfast. The breakfast consisted of just muffins, fruit, and coffee. We feel there could of been more items offered for a contential breakfast. By the end of the week I was tired of eating a blueberry or chocolate chip muffin. Also, the tv channels were disappointing. There was not many channels on the tv that was advertised. It made our nights and mornings boring until we got moving.

Older motel that’s Reasonably priced and clean. Within a short walk to the beach.

The pillows were awful beds were mediocre. A/c only worked occasionally. No maid service while we were there for 4 days. Never had clean towels. I realize it was also end of season and less guests. However,while we were there, motel had plenty of guests. Overall not the worst place just would have been nice to have clean towels at least once throughout our stay.

Honestly everything could not have been better at this price point. Could not have asked for more. Stayed a week, ideal location walking distance to the beach and 9th street boardwalk restrooms. Room was very clean and the staff was friendly. We even stayed an extra night because it was so great. The pool was clean. They had plates, pots pans and cups in our kitchen for us and it’s a small family owned business. We will be back here next visit.
