Everything was wonderful! The front desk staff was so amazing and nice (I believe she was the owner). She made sure she would always be available if we needed anything of all hours! We had room 301B and it over looked the city. Our room was full of windows, which is so nice to have at the beach. Everything was very modern, CLEAN (you could literally smell the cleaning products upon entering), and I also liked how they don’t use carpet, which means the floors are able to be more well kept. The big plus was the huge bathroom we had!!!! Best hotel we have stayed at in ocean city, and I’ve stayed at over 20 of them. Will be staying here again!

Everything was wonderful

Rooms were very clean. Lady at desk was very nice and helpful. Good location. Was able to walk to boardwalk. Air conditioning worked great! Loved also having windows that opened. Would Def. Stay in New building again.

The outlet plugs were very loose. The cords we plugged in kept falling out. Would love to see an elevator but managed with the stairs. Was just a little loud with all the traffic going by at night. But manageable. Last would love to have had balcony but for a two night stay was good.

the property was new. the owner was onsite daily and the staff were available for whatever was needed. at check in the price was verified, the housekeeping rules reviewed AND they allowed me to park there prior to check in so we were able to park and walk to lunch.

the parking was very tight. everyone had a space but the issue was when loading or unloading the car it just had to be done prior to getting into the space if you needed to access the side doors of your vehicle. even though the building was new there was a physical key and the door had to be manually locked when you left. it was hard to remember that. also it would be nice if there were tissue boxes in the room. however, I spoke to the owner about all of this at checkout and she explained the challenges faced with the new building as well as liked the suggestion about the tissues so it wasn’t a deal breaker, just the reason it wouldn’t get a “10” from me.

I loved the location and cleanliness of the building. The worker was great.

I didn’t like the way the staff handled the disgruntled tourist that was parked in our reserved area. She should have called the police on her. The tourist was very disrespectful and threatening. When we stated that she banged on our wall in the morning the staff person felt intimidated and should have had her removed. My sleep was not pleasant the second night because their were not safe guards to ensure that our vehicle would not be damaged. A parking lot camera would have sufficed. The facility was great but the situation should have been handled better.

Still under construction so the room I booked was not ready. Staff notified us in advance of our arrival and the substitute room was roomy, clean and comfortable. Some of the minor problems were compensated for. I am sure that all will be taken care of in the near future. Easy to find the building and staff more than went out of their way to make us comfortable.

We had booked a 1st floor room which due to construction issues that were supposed to be done were not and we had to walk up to the 2nd floor room. check out was complicated by weather which neither staff nor I could do anything about.

The location was close to the beach but just far enough away that you dont have the extra noise of the boardwalk. We left our phone in the room after check-out they got it for us and held it in the office until we returned.

It says that your room has a balcony but its not a private balcony. Its one of those long shared ones.

The building was new so the rooms were very clean and modern for a good price. The location of the building was walking distance to the boardwalk and many attractions. The front desk lady was also very nice.

The parking was awful and extremely tight. Also, our cleaning lady was complaining to us about her job. and Thankfully I had cash on me as they do require a $200 security fee and they only take cash that they return at the end of your visit.

The value and location were amazing! The staff was so helpful and friendly. The room was extremely clean and all the furniture was brand new!

The room was a little small but worked! It was me, my husband, and 18mo old staying there.

This Tessa, Richard’s wife. Ocean Lodge was the perfect place for my husband and I to enjoy time away from home. We had our car with us, but everything was within walking distance which was fantastic! The Lodge is situated just 2 short blocks from the boardwalk and beach. We also spent a day at Assateague Beach which was just a few minute’s drive away. Definitely worth it to go there!

This property was a very short walk to the beach/boardwalk. It was conveniently located to restaurants and all sorts of activities. The room was extremely clean and the bed was very comfortable. There was a nice size fridge and microwave.

An in room coffee pot would have been nice. When we checked in coffee was available in the office. We went down in the morning to get a cup of coffee but the office was locked and no coffee was visible through the window. We had to drive Dunkin which was about a 5 minute drive.
