The Queen Suite in which we stayed was clean, well-equipped, and comfortable. Our friends initially had an issue with their room having a musty odor (we think from an issue with the air conditioner) and the staff handled it quickly by placing them in a different room, which had no issues.

The hotel is located near the beach and has a short trail from the hotel grounds to the beach. However, the doorways through which patrons must go to access the pathway were locked when I tried to access it just after sunrise. Also, the hotel doesn't have breakfast available other than on the weekends.

Location. This Inn situated near campus, near the very beautiful old building with fountain. Super nice and calm location. There are a private beach is very good to walk. Hotel is located just 20-30 minutes from Revere beach and Boston. Room. Room was just okay. Small queen room with private bathroom and shower. Nothing special, just economy hotel. But everything was clean.

Nothing to say here, it's just affordable place with everything you need to stay comfortably and what most important clean and calm.

The staff? Genuinely friendly, kind and knowledgeable. The property is well maintained and sea adjacent. In fact, it is next to or part of "Tupper Manor," an impressive old estate built in 1901!! Quite spectacular, and as such the hotel benefits from the well-manicured grounds. All in all, a lovely, spacious place next to the modest inn that is also well cared for. Enjoy.

I won't say I didn't like it. An observation is that the bathrooms, whose showers are a bit dated, could use a bit of sprucing up.

THE BEDS AND PILLOWS ARE SO COMFORTABLE. I LOVE THE LITTLE HIKE TO THE HIDDEN BEACH. ABSOLUTELY PERFECT!

I liked almost everything. The only thing that I would change is the AC unit. I wish that I had a way to keep the Fan in the ac unit on, continuously as it's white noise and helps with sleep :) could have been user error but we tried everything to try and make the fan stay on. I think that it might automatically turn off when the temperature reaches the desired temp on machine.

Everything! This is a top-notch facility. It's clean, well-maintained, well-lighted, and well-staffed. Room and amenities were exactly as described (if not better), and the front desk staff were always warm and receptive, friendly and helpful. I had one of the most pleasant stays I've ever had at a hotel here!

The ONLY thing that would have made my stay even better would have been breakfast with hot options (this wasn't an advertised amenity, but it's always my preference wherever I stay).

Absolutely beautiful location, extremely clean and beds and pillows were so comfortable. Staff was so friendly and accommodating, we actually requested to stay another night. If you are going to Salem I think this is the perfect place, the drive into Salem is AMAZING and about 5 miles. Also, they have their own private beach.

Needs microwave in room.

Clean, comfortable rooms. Not far from Salem or Boston and very quiet despite being in front of a college. The housekeeping staff made sure I had what I needed.

The night I checked in I was given wrong check in information which resulted in me using the wrong card which kind of put a dent in my trip, so ask for clarity when checking in no matter who is at the front desk.

Was kind of loud throughout the night due to conference and many people talking in the hallway. Had service animal and every time when walking the animal out and coming in the hotel, all but one who was very friendly gave a type of shocked or dirty look when they saw the service animal which made it very uncomfortable when going through the lobby. The coffee mugs were sticky and dirty, the coffee station on the desk was filthy, there was a pill and a long strand of used dental floss on the bathroom floor.

There was a very bright overhead light that illuminated the room. It was so bright. Is it the wifi? I just have never had an experience like this. Also, an extra blanket would have been appreciated both for weight and warmth. I don't sleep with the heat on and added my down jacket for warmth over the blanket. It was otherwise a fine overnight stay. I would return with my own blanket and a slip of paper to cover that crazy LED light. thank you
