The property is ideally located right on Route 1, which gives you instant access to all the major roadways in the area. Staff was accommodating to my need for a room change. Breakfast was hot and ready on time.

Getting in and out of the parking lot was a little bit tricky. There were a couple of issues with my first room, but management was happy to switch my room. The elevator situation leaves something to be desired. They move extremely slowly and at one point one of the elevators interior buttons stopped working, but you couldn’t call the other car down to the 1st floor, so I had to walk up 2 flights of stairs to catch it on the 3rd floor to take it up to the 5th.

The staff was friendly. The buffet for breakfast was really good, and the attendees were so personable. The facility was clean. The room was nice and spacious. This location was near Salem and other areas we were exploring. It also has a few restaurants near it. The pizza place wasn't so good, but there was a Wendy's and Sonic within walking distance. I'm picky about beds, and they had hard beds for me, but that is more of a preference.

I didn't like that the pool was not heated. It was freezing cold. This was one of the reasons we stayed here. The other thing I didn't like was that you had to ask for your room to be cleaned. This was not explained when we checked in. This was the only downfall to staying here.

Doors bang shut due to not having a mechanism to close quietly. Thus, neighbors' doors were constantly banging until they went to sleep. I stepped on a nail protruding through the carpet and reported it to the desk clerk. I don't know if it got fixed. The bathroom door closed on its own squeaking as it slowly closed. When I asked about laundry services, I was told I had to go next door to another hotel and use their services.

Everything went smoothly from Check-In to Check-Out. All of the Desk Staff was awesome and incredibly helpful! The Room was fresh and clean. Toiletries were readily available. Beds were comfortable. Staff was so friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were excellent, and the Chef was so nice. Pool was great to relax in during our first night. Toni was very helpful, sociable, and friendly giving us tips for our Trip to Salem and recommended a great Pizza Place just a few steps over!

There was literally nothing that we didn't like! We had no complaints about anything at all.

The room was quiet, nicely furnished and clean. The environment was sufficiently climate-controlled, and the air was fresh smelling and not stale or smokey at all. The bathroom was nice and roomy. The bed was very comfortable. The hallway was quiet also. I got a good sleep.

I would have liked to have had a way to shut out the light coming in through the window when I took a nap during the day, and also at night to block out the outside lights. The curtains were not adequate to do this. Fortunately I brought a sleep mask. You should offer them to your guests or have them handy in the rooms. My only other suggestion for improvement is to put a big, bright sign where you have to turn to get to the hotel parking lot. I missed it the first time because it did not look anything like a hotel entrance, and then had to go in a large circle to get back to the entrance. If I did not have my Google maps turned on I might still be trying to find my way!

The other customer service rep seemed clueless, i overheard her saying. I apologize several times to other customers. The Pool was cold so we didnt get to use it, (kinda the reason we chose Hampton Inn or we would have stayed closer to Salem), I am still waiting on the Xtra 50 bucks they charged me and held for the room deposit, I called the front desk and she said to call my bank as it up them to release the hold. I called my bank today, because it still didn't get put back in my account..14 days later...The bank has a dispute in process. This charge should have been put in separately but wasn't. $50 hopefully will come back into my account,

The staff was courteous and friendly. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was delicious. They even had EV chargers. We didn't use them, but that was a nice touch.

EV charging was a bit slow and a flat rate of $15, which is a bit high, especially for slow charging. Like I said, though, it was a nice touch to have them and had we needed it, I would have gladly paid the $15.

Staff was very friendly and they placed us where the noise level would be lower even though they had a large wedding party in house. Was clean for an older facility. Breakfast was hot and they did not run out of food even towards the end of Breakfast hours.

Air conditioner started to leak after a few days. Breakfast was OK for a hotel but really wish they would have peanut butter for the waffles. Beds are kinda hard. Facilities are older and there was some rust in the bathtub.

Breakfast was very good; good food and variety; very clean; fruits (bananas/oranges/apples) very fresh Room very clean and beds comfortable; although the shower area needed some upkeeping No noise at all/very quiet

Shower area needs some modernization: e.g. switch from bathtub to shower very hard to lift and looked fragile and old, I was afraid it would break on me.

First and foremost, Jose at the front counter was absolutely amazing!!! His upbeat personality made the hotel a great experience as soon as you enter. Breakfast was great with a lot of options. The room was very clean and there was plenty of parking. Short drive to Salem which is why we picked this hotel.

The only thing I didn’t like, and it’s not even their fault, was there was road work being done for one night while we were there but the beds were so comfy that I was still able to fall asleep through it.
