A nicely "standard" Hampton Inn. That's a good thing. We frequently stay in Hampton Inns - because we can count on the chain for comfort and value. This one did not disappoint. It may not "wow" you, but you'll know it will meet your needs. Very helpful front desk attendant. He went above and beyond to make sure our needs were being met.

We added a roll-away to our king room to accommodate our 12-year-old grandson. While it certainly worked o.k. for a single night, the size of the room wasn't "commodious" with that addition.

It is a beautiful home with a very nice view of the ocean, sitting atop a cliff. The house is nicely decorated, immaculately clean. Judie is a very gracious hostess. She offered us many treats, coffee, tea, fruit and best of all, attention and great conversation. We truly enjoyed our short stay and highly recommend this place.

Nice hotel conveniently located near the highway. The swimmingpool was hard to find, but then very nice and the staff attentive and very friendly. Breakfast was better than expected, even fresh fruit and cereals were available. The buffet was always replenished quickly.

Water pressure in shower required a much longer to rinse off.

The room smelled a bit like smoke even though it was a non-smoking room.

I checked out at 4:30am. When I inquired, I was told there was no breakfast, only leftover dinner from the previous night. Also, the hot coffee served was lukewarm only, not worth drinking.

Having the complimentary breakfast I was promised when I checked in certainly would have been appreciated. And a hot cup of coffee in the morning would have been a plus. There was no menu on the television, so I gave up clicking through every channel for something to watch. That was annoying.

It was nice and clean the hallways stunk a bit but we didn't sleep out there. Staff was very friendly and helped us find a nice local spot to karaoke at.

The shower was broken off we had to repair it and apparently no instructions on how to use it. But that's on us.

Customer service was outstanding and kudos to Melvin in management. Had a issue with cleaning (dirty towel left in bathroom upon arrival and stopped up sink), but Melvin handled it immediately. Breakfast was good and the attendant kept it filled up and clean.

The bed is way too hard! A thick mattress pad or ""feather" bed on top might help. Would have enjoyed a little more variety in the muffins for breakfast, but all was fresh and good.

Location near highway, shopping and restaurants made for a perfect stay before heading to ferry about about an hour away the next morning. Breakfast was great with super friendly staff.
