We did not have breakfast at the hotel. Bathrobes were awesome.

Single biggest complaint - They had an event that was held in the afternoon that had the music so loud I could not enjoy our room. As it happens, the Spectrum TV was down for about 24 hours in the area due to high winds which wasn't their fault, but I couldn't even use the TV to drown out the music. I asked about it twice and all they said was that they would be done at 4:00, which they were. I found it totally unacceptable to have that loud a music playing and they wouldn't even offer to turn it down. And I paid for a SUITE!!!! If I stayed here again I would make sure I did not stay over the function room.

We stay often due to our children living nearby. The staff is always friendly/helpful and rooms clean/comfortable.

Our visit 8/22 visit was disappointing due to unruly, unsupervised teenagers screaming in the hall after midnight (our first thought was somebody was in distress). It didn't stop till we went into hall and told them to knock it off. Unfortunately, it disrupted our sleep and left us tired the next day.

Breakfast was great! The decor and attention to detail with the design of the end was beautiful everything tied in with every little detail down to color pattern texture.

The woman at the check-in and checkout same woman was not very friendly or informative. She made it seem inconvenient that I wanted to pay cash instead of pay with my credit card on file. She did not ask how our stay was or if we needed anything.

Spacious, clean! quite, friendly staff, cozy feeling, easy to use heating and cooling controls, lots of light options in the room, and Nice little amenities (pretty sure it was eco-friendly packaging on shampoo, conditioner, soap)

Cheap toilet paper, Rough towels, too many down feather pillows, no hand lotion ( The bar soap was nice but stripping on the hands!)

Being locked out of my room getting a glass of water from the cooler outside and having to creep down to reception to get a new door pass only wearing my pj bottoms!

Very clean, pleasant staff, comfortable bed, excellent Covid precautions. Beautiful and charming with the rocking chairs on the front porch. They encourage guests to take with them all toiletries so there is no possible virus transmission. If you needed a new towel, there was a sheet to request it from housekeeping, rather than change them all every day.

Due to Covid, breakfast was only a packaged bag.

Peaceful atmosphere & very courteous staff.

Maybe not having it is part of the charm, but did miss utube/Netflix , but then, there’s a lot better things to do just outside‼️👏👏

The service, rooms, and especially the beds are amazing!

there are no sun dries in the hotel for snacks so bring them with you for the mini fridge.

Beautiful inn in quintessential historic New England town just outside Boston. Immaculate and tastefully decorated and check-in manager was lovely. Thank you!

gorgeous and well kept

acoustics were a little tough but did not ruin the stay. our room was near the lobby, so there was frequent foot traffic.
