The Granville House is the B&B we always wanted to visit. The innkeepers were gracious, warm and genuinely happy to see us. The guest house was thoughtfully decorated with wonderful art and memorabilia from the innkeepers’ lives. Artisanal whiskey greeted us the living room. There was a music room full of vinyl and a record player. The family room had a pool table, board games, books, a juke box and really comfortable couches. The breakfast was served in a lovely dining room with a blazing fire. The olive oil muffins had a hint of orange and were served warm with whipped mascarpone. The eggs, veggies, and maple bacon were all locally sourced. Our King room overlooked the peaceful Great Barrington countryside with a cozy window seat. There were two luggage racks unlike most hotels who only provide one. Our room came with our own record player and a James Taylor album. The incredibly comfortable bed was covered in luxurious white linen sheets. The adorable retro refrigerator held the coffee set up and kept our water cold. The bathroom towels were thick and absorbent. The bath products were fragrant and refreshing. Our every need was anticipated and lovingly fulfilled. We felt completely spoiled at the Granville House and can’t wait to return to the perfect B&B.

We had a perfect stay.

Beautiful room, quiet and very comfortable. Love the turntable and record collection. Our breakfast was a menu selection! Was not expecting that and LOVED IT! The grounds and garden made my morning. I even had the pleasure of snipping some herbs for my dinner plans with family in NY. thank you Terri and Terry - already told at least five people about our stay. Cheers and we will be returning for a bit longer stay to experience more of the surroundings.

The owners, Terry and Terri, are warm, friendly and interesting hosts. The inn is simply beautiful—clean, well appointed and welcoming. I read for a while in the front sitting room by the fire. The breakfast was delicious and the perfect portion size. Our room was cozy and comfortable and it was fun to listen to vinyl on the turntable in our room. No tvs, which was really wonderful. I can’t say enough good things about the Granville House and our stay there. We will be back for sure!

I can’t think of anything I didn’t like.

Very easy to travel to surrounding attractions. Breakfast was delicious, fresh ingredients and delicious coffee. Very good accommodations for dietary preferences. Cozy and beautiful dining room. Very comfortable and elegant sitting rooms for guests with opportunities for a relaxed evening playing pool or board games and listening to the vintage jukebox. Our hosts have done much to make guests feel welcome and comfortable.

Nothing, it was altogether excellent.

We had the most wonderful three days at Granville house. The bed was truly the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in and the breakfast options were all delicious, especially the yummy muffin appetizer. The Inn is kitted out with lots of lovely extras including a record player in each room, a jukebox and pool table in the common area, and many many books and comfy nooks to curl up in. The owners were friendly and very helpful, even packing up an early breakfast to go on our last day. :)

Not an issue for us but the Inn is located a little outside of Great Barrington so a car is necessary.

Terri and Terry were wonderful innkeepers; warm, friendly, knowledgeable, interesting and helpful. Our room was perfect; comfortable, bright, nicely appointed with everything we needed. Breakfasts were delicious! The common areas were full of great things to see, do, read and listen to. And the grounds were breathtaking with many wonderful spots to take in the lovely view, relax, meditate, visit and enjoy. Bonus: record players in each room and a great selection of albums, that made it hard to choose from, fun idea. Nourishing for the spirit, mind and body.

Extremely friendly and hospitable hosts made us feel very special. The inn itself is lovely and fun, with its ITS A WONDERFUL LIFE accents, beautiful furnishings, and attractive grounds. It’s a great location in Great Barrington. And the breakfast was great. Terri and Terry understand hospitality. I give the Granville House my highest ratings and can’t wait to go back.

The Granville house surpassed our expectations. The moment you walk in you are welcomed by a beautifully preserved historic home. The decor is warm and welcoming with a mix of modern contemporary furniture and antique pieces. Our room number 4 was so inviting and warmly lit with a beautiful bathroom! Both my fiancé and I agreed this is exactly how we want our future house to look. We both left Sunday morning saying “I have a feeling we will be back here in the near future”. A great stay, with two lovely hosts and a breakfast so tasty you’ll never want it to end.

We loved everything about the property. One could write a paragraph about each room given how they have been dressed and the care and attention that Terri and Terry have shown in providing a sublime experience for their guests. Quite outstanding in every sense and experience. one has to mention the breakfasts, amazing quality and the home made muffins are to die for.

There is not one thing not to like about the property

This was an exceptional property! it was well maintained and spotless. Plus they designed around the age of the property with appropriate style furniture both inside and outside. Loved the rockers on front porch for morning coffee and evening peace. Bed were very comfortable and breakfast was a real treat with their famous orange muffins. Owners, Terry and Terry, were both interesting and so accommodating.
