Really appreciated the look of the room and how it had been deftly apportioned with the beautiful woodwork and cloth window shade instead of a curtain and that the room had a thermostat on the wall and not directly on the ac/heating unit itself. The heating and cooling unit also ran very quietly. Corner bathroom sink was a great space saver. Total room had a very upscale vibe. Liked the welcome and departing gifts as well...very nice touch!

Have info in the room about Ann Arbor & Vicinity restaurants, events and other destinations. Wish the breakfast hours would have been one half-hour longer....possibly to 9:30 if possible since checkout is not until noon. Sign off of the main road at driveway entrance needs to state the hotel's name and the hotel needs to have its name on the building as well to make it easier to find in the dark.

Staff were very helpful and friendly. The sweet welcome bag w the waters an snacks were very thoughtful and very much appreciated! The room has a lot of practical furniture and yet it didn't feel cramped. Bed an couch were very comfortable.

Breakfast could definitely have been better. Hot water in the bathroom sink wasn't really hot. There appeared to be a great deal of water/carpet damage in the outside hallway of my room that was a bit of an eyesore and had a bit of a stinch,..

Staff were very helpful and had suggestions for restaurants in the local area including one that delivered to the hotel. We went over to Banditos for dinner and we're pleasantly surprised with the Mexican food being very authentic. We're from California and are rather picky when it comes to this. Lol. We stayed there one night at the beginning of our vacation and one night at the end prior to going for a late flight in Detroit. They were very accommodating allowing for late checkout. The food for breakfast was very good. Having 24-hour coffee was a plus for my wife. The beds were very very comfortable and the comforters that they use were very very nice.

The rooms have small vertical blinds instead of drapes or any blackout drapes. The lights from the parking lot being on all night long cast a significant amount of light into the room which could not be diminished in any way. While I understand that putting in vertical blinds can decrease the amount of upkeep and costs associated with fabric drapes, it would be a plus to be able to have some way in which two block out some of the light that's coming into the room at night.

We drove down for a MI football game. We loved the location. Close to stores and restaurants. My son had fun playing in the pool. We had it all to ourselves for at least two hours. Great price compared to most hotels in the area, especially for a football season weekend.

Breakfast was ok. Wish there would have been more options. Twice before checkout time, housekeeping tried to come in. First time, they knocked and we had said we were still here. Next time, knocked and before we could even answer, came in. She seemed friendly and said she thought she had seen us leave early and that’s why she was coming in. This was well before checkout time was. We sort of felt rushed out because of how eager they were to come in.

Location to town was good. Staff was super friendly. Beds were comfy and we enjoyed our weekend.

The breakfast felt a little underwhelming and at times couldn't accommodate a full room. Not from the staff, they were great, but the room and tables seemed inadequate. The rooms could be a little tidier but there is evidence of renovation so we didn't think too much on it. The parking lot needs an upgrade forsure. Rest of the amenities were fine.

Nice stay at this Hampton Inn. Staff was friendly and my 4th floor room was very clean and very quiet, which is what I cared most about. It's not swanky (friends were at the Doubletree across the road, which is more recently updated) and the carpet has seen better days, but I really appreciated the free coffee and tea in the lobby--it was nice to come back at the end of the day and have decaf and herbal teas to choose from. Breakfast was good, the scrambled eggs were actually edible and the coffee was very good. This was convenient to my family in north Ann Arbor and close to a really nice market (Plum Market) if you need a snack or bottle of wine. The bus to downtown leaves from right next to the hotel and was a pleasant ride for just $1.50!

On two occasions, my card key didn't work and I had to return to the lobby to have them update it. Note to other travelers, there's no bar or restaurant. This didn't matter to me. One evening, a few people gathered in the "lobby" (which is really the breakfast room), which would be the option.

We've stayed at this property several times when we've had appointments at U of M Medical Center. It's an easy location to access and only takes a few minutes to get to the medical center. Bonus that it's pet friendly for a reasonable charge.

Our room was clean but some parts in the hotel could use a good cleaning. It just appears overall that the hotel in is need of an update. One of the elevators is out of order and has been for our last couple of stays.

Location near coffee house and great shopping at Plum Market! Nice lobby to hang out with family.

Need to get TV working in Exercise Room and add a FAN!!! Ungodly hot. Could use lounge seating somewhere, like comfy chairs and reading lamps....

Breakfast provided many different options, including oatmeal and hot eggs and meat, for those who are gluten sensitive!

The Fitness Center was FILTHY, as if someone cleaned through the middle, with dust caked on equipment. It also was very hot, with no air movement. It's too small, and it doesn't have any floor mats or weights. A little care put into this area would go along way!

Was able to spot the hotel from the US-23 exit ramp. Located close to main roads, yet enough of a buffer zone to negate traffic noise. Couldn't turn down the breakfast, especially Sunday--and that's a good thing given the situation encountered at my destination.

One elevator working, but didn't greatly affect my plans.
