It has been hard finding a clean and updated hotel in the area. Comfort Inn was very clean and up to date.

It looks like they recently remodeled, or they are actively going through some updates. The staff was friendly, the breakfast was hot, and the location was easy to get in and out of. I liked that they put our rooms adjoining, and I like the little arcade that they had.

There were not enough luggage carts for all 3 floors. I spent almost an hour hunting one down, and the one I did find, the wheels would barely turn. The mini fridge froze all of the stuff we put in from the night before (which actually turned out to be a good thing lol).

The hotel was fine. Breakfast was okay. No complaints.

Pool towels were very small.

The hotel was very nice. The room was a bit cramped with a hide abed in it. There was some sort of noise in what sounded like the water plumbing. It was a very loud whistle sound of some sort. I did talk to the person at the desk and a maintenance person. It would start low in sound and get loud before stopping. It did interfere with sleep at times. We were in room 173. If I had to stay in that room, I would not go back again. Everything else was great. The staff was very accommodating. We were there two days.

Room too crowded. Noise in water line or something.

We had a clean room of the type I booked (not a handicapped one with not so nice accommodations) with sufficient and clean linens and everything we would expect to see but sometimes have not seen at other hotels we have booked in the last couple of years. (We have not had a problem with Comfort Inn though). The person manning the breakfast meals did a great job of keeping the tables clean and items filled besides being very nice and friendly greeting everyone who came in. It was really a very pleasant time. I would refer this Comfort Inn to anyone.

The location is great. Our rooms were clean and the beds were very comfy. The breakfast was good!

Through no fault of their own, there were two negatives to our stay. The coffee machine broke down and wasn't available for a period of time. Also, there were high school football teams there, so the noise (especially at night) was excessive. The pool/hot tub area was very busy in the evenings with rowdy boys, so we weren't comfortable using them.

One thing we DID NOT like is that you allow smoking on the property. Quite a few times we had to walk through smoke as people sat on the outdoor bench which is situated right in front of the entrance door to the elevator and smoked. It's smelly and dirty and may be an issue for guests with medial conditions. In Canada smoking is not allowed on any public or commercial property for business. I realize that your laws in Michigan may be different but I would strongly suggest moving the bench or specifying a smoking area away from a entrance or exit door. Or no smoking signs.

It had lots of shopping and restaurants nearby. It was clean and beds were comfortable. It’s close by to Bronner’s Christmas village and had a cute zoo about 4 moons away ( wilderness trails zoo). They had a nice hot and cold free breakfast in the morning with lots of options to choose from. They had a cute little arcade for kids and the pool was nice with long pool hours.

Our air conditioning in room wasn’t working the best.

Breakfast was very nice; there were simple choices for my wife, and more hearty choices for me. The room was mostly clean. The spa bath was incredible. There was a Veggietales marathon on TV in the morning. 👍

There was still bathroom trash from the last guest in our room. It didn't bother us, but maybe worth noting. Additionally, the TV channels are minimal and I was not able to watch any of my travel favorites.

The location was great. It was close to Frankenmuth, which was our destination. We especially loved all the decorations in the lobby at the hotel, which we discovered were made by the mother of an employee. They were very impressive. One of our daughters is a huge Rudolph fan, and was smitten to see all the figures from the animated movie in one of the displays. The staff were all very friendly and helpful as well. We will definitely want to stay there again.

We couldn't complain about anything at this hotel.
