The pool was close. Something about the ceiling. We were never told that the pool was closed when checking in and there were no signs up indicating that the pool was closed. We only found out it was closed when we went to the front desk to tell them our key wasn't working. My opinion is the pool was closed because I was told that the hotel was full of kids that weekend. Another problem was the elevators. Very sketchy. Got caught between floors for a few minutes. Spent the rest of our visit using the stairs and we were on the 6th floor.

The selling point for this location was the skywalk to the Lansing Center. The facility was clean, and my room had a great view. Since I got a good deal on the room, I opted to spend a little extra on breakfast tickets. This hotel has a restaurant on-site that opens early and stays open late. Breakfast was very good! I ordered the pancakes, and they were huge with lots of fresh berries included.

Just two complaints: 1. There were no pork-free meat options for breakfast. 2. I would have liked for the parking situation to be explained better. I valeted my car thinking that valet was free (aside from gratuity). I paid close to $30! I'm not sure if I misunderstood a suggested gratuity, or if that was an actual mandatory charge. Be sure to ask questions before you valet if cost is an issue.

The breakfast was very good. Lots of fresh fruit. Comfortable beds. There's a pool and a small gym. The staff were very nice and helpful. Parking is in a garage that's connected to the main building by a glass enclosed skyway ($15 a day if you park yourself). Easy and convenient. Safe area. You can walk to several restaurants and the stadium is just a few blocks away.

Restaurant. Walked out on breakfast. Took at least 15 minutes before the waitress took our order. After another 1/2 hour didn’t have our breakfast. Asked the waitress and her reply was “did I take your order?” Short staffed. Chocolate milk was white milk with chocolate power :(, coffee was not fresh and very bitter. Enjoyed our room but definitely wouldn’t go to the restaurant.

My room was modern, comfortable and clean. Valet assured me my car would be well taken care of, which was comforting.

The restaurant was understaffed. Reception staff were not friendly. The elevators were not working and I had to climb the stairs to the seventh floor with my luggage.

Location is great with parking close and easy to get too. Also covered walkway taking from parking garage to the hotel and also event center. Rooms where clean and so was hotel. Only downside was elevators being worked on.

Elevators were under maintenance. More detailed explanation on what was being done. An inconvenient situation but the work had to be done.

Valet parking. Restaurant, Starbucks and a pool. We loved the over head walkway to the venue. Also a very convenient closeness to the capital as we have never seen it before.

Your elevators are creepy. No exhaust fan in the bathroom. That’s it! :-)

The location was perfect for the purpose of our trip. The vehicle was parked, and we were able to walk to everything. The rooms were nice, clean and comfortable. Overall location was nice and safe,

There was a restaurant in the hotel, but it was closed. It would have been nice if it was open. The reservations were made for four individuals. Our room did not have enough towels to accommodate everyone in our group.

This location makes it easy to walk or bike to most places in Lansing! Rooms were clean and well equipped. Felt really nice to come back to after a long day of adventuring.
