This is the second time I stayed at this hotel. The first time was last summer and then last weekend. Upon checking in this time, I asked if I could have the same room (201) as I did last year because the view you have of the lake and bridge and because it’s a corner room. Ashley who was working at the reception immediately accommodated me so thank you for that! :) I had my wife with me this year and when we walked in the room she loved it! She liked how it was decorated and spacious enough for two people. She had zero complaints about the room or hotel overall and both of us agreed we will return for another stay! :)

The only negative comment I have is the hotel advertises that they have breakfast included which they do not. They serve coffee and granola bars and that’s it. I heard two other guests complaining about this as well. If the hotel removed the “breakfast included” from their advertising, they wouldn’t frustrate so many guests.

We were on the third floor with a balcony. You can walk on the balcony and get a nice view of Lake superior.  Room was nice and clean. The bed was comfortable.

 Breakfast was a brown paper bag with an apple and a  granola bar. If you’re looking for a place with a full breakfast in the morning, then do not book here. There was a nice restaurant about five blocks away with an inexpensive breakfast that was very good. Third-floor ice machine was out of service. You had to go to second floor. Drink machine on third floor was also out of service.

Loved the location of the hotel, the bridge was across the street and the downtown area was only a few blocks away. The beds were so comfy, the best ones we stayed in all weekend. The room was clean and the staff was very friendly.

I didn't like the sink was outside of the bathroom, kind of gross to use the restroom then having to go out of the bathroom to wash your hands. Maybe put the sink in with the bathroom or have 2 sinks.

The room was very clean and comfortable and it was always quiet on our floor.

Morning staff is not very friendly. We went to the front desk twice aside from checking in and one time they were arguing about the printer not working and didn't even acknowledge that we were standing there and the 2nd time they acted inconvenienced when I was asking about the water parks that we had access to.

They gave us a free upgrade to a king bed and jacuzzi. That was awesome. We have stayed here before and like the fact that it is right across the street from the Lake and you can see the Mackinaw Bridge from some rooms.

It only had one comfortable chair so one of us had to sit on the uncomfortable table chair.

The breakfast was not up and running so they offered us meal tickets down to a different restaurant along with water park tickets because the pool was not open. They went above and beyond to accommodate us for our stay.

We didn't dislike anything during our stay

We loved the location. The view of the bridge was great. The price was within our budget.

Not the hotels fault, but the midges (the bugs flying around the water) were bad. We hit their season at the peak. The hotel was great and it was not their fault.

The floors creek and the cleaning people start way to early in the morning and I like to sleep in to 9:30-10am and no microwave in room but you can use the one in breakfast room

Location was great. Room was Clean. Great that they gave the option to visit/use other hotel pools. Went to "waterpark" down the road. It was a kids water area. My 16year old heard water park and was a little disappointed

Could use a little update. Carpet was a little old and bed cover but it was clean. Also bag and go breakfast was water, apple and granola bar.

The staff was friendly and very helpful. The pool was good along with all the amenities that came with our stay.

The beds were very uncomfortable and the pillows too small. The cleaning staff was not to good we only got towels once in 5 days and I kept having to go to the front desk to get regular coffee because all they were putting in our room was decaf.
