It was so comfortable and cozy and we had a patio to sit on although it rained a lot. This accomodations is the best one for Mayo Clinic that I could imagine. The HOTELS elevator took us directly to the heart of Mayo Clinic which is the socalled subway ( no trains, just a beautiful area to walk EVERYWHERE ). THE folks at the desk had everything you needed or could tell you where to get it. The parking was right there. I will stay here again next time I come to Mayo Clinic.

The handicapped shower ran out and all over the bathroom floor. Whatever engineers designed the angles and stuff for the handicapped rolling bathrooms were having a bad day.

When we arrived, parking ramp full, so front desk staff explained where to park and how to get there. Very helpful. Well lighted room. Lots of storage space. Linens & pillows perfect and very comfortable. Just perfect weight. Restaurant CB3 wonderful. Super to have fridge & microwave.

Carpet quite dusty all around the perimeter of the room, we were in 825. When fan running, all air went under drapes unless they were tucked onto window sill. Missing inner drapes. Also, room fan makes a loud clicking sound. so very hard to sleep when on. Bathroom fan also sounds like a small engine taking off. I dislike the light and fan together. I normally leave bathroom light on but couldn't this time..

The room was well kept and spacious, put together nicely for the long stay Mayos sometimes requires. The staff was very kind and accommodating. The laundry room was easy to get to. Nice game room and pool area. The parking garage was also a bonus, though only good for small cars.

The TV lineup didn't offer much, and the movies available were slim. Offering Netflix or other streaming channels would be nice. The water pressure wasn't great in the shower, and the bathroom was a tad small. There is no business center available to print things. Otherwise, this is a fantastic place to stay.

This is THE place to stay if you're going to Mayo, hands down. Connected by an easily accessible, decorated indoor tunnel, you won't even realize you're underground. Also connected to the hotel within one lobby is a coffee shop, as well as a sandwich shop. It was so nice being able to easily walk back to my room between appointments. Last year I stayed at a hotel a few blocks away and walked - never again. The room I had was more than I expected - suite style, with a separate living/dining area, which made the days spent there feel more comfortable with space to spread out. Slightly outdated, but an absolute steal for your buck, and incredibly comfortable all around. 10/10 will stay again.

difficulty getting trash changed and clean towels . very stingy with coffee in room and none in lobby - have to ask for everything. cleaning lady never came in room and can’t speak English - we stayed 4 days no carts to check in or out - we had to use a Mayo Clinic wheelchair to move our luggage limited hot water for bath - best to take bath at night so you have hot water

Proximity to the Mayo clinic buildings and access to the Mayo subway system along with the underground parking were the primary considerations for staying at the Kahler Inn and Suites.

The restaurant and morning breakfast options are not currently available. This means getting breakfast somewhere else, and the only adjacent food service is Jimmy John's. While lunch is easily available within walking distance via the subway system, most of these venues close down early and require that most of the evening meal options have to be accessed by going outside.

It was an amazing stay for what we needed it for. We had multiple appointments one day and ended up having more added the next day, the hotel was able to accommodate with staying in the same room for another night. The pool was nice but it's more for the little ones/teenagers, it's a 3 1/2 deep pool. But the family still had fun. The staff was amazing and very friendly. When staying another night and housekeeping was notified, they stopped at your room to check in with us to make sure we had everything we needed for another night. I would definitely recommend this hotel. The tunnels to Mayo were a plus because it was nasty outside lol.

The hot tub wasn't working.

very convenient for Mayo Clinic. I booked this hotel and THEN read the reviews - which scared me- thinking we were walking into an ancient crypt but very pleasantly surprised. Very clean, comfortable, hot water, and great water pressure. It was very quiet in the rooms- and the decor was understated and calming - perfect for dealing with medical procedures.

I believe parking was 16 a night? we didn’t park there. Also no free coffee in the lobby - but did have a small maker in the room.

I stay here because of the location. I can park car ($15) in the hotel garage and literally not have to go outside again til I leave. I can walk to Mayo through the subway system, which is great during wintertime when the weather is usually horrible.

I usually can’t eat breakfast because of medical tests but the hotel itself offers nothing except really bad coffee in the rooms. There’s a basic snack shop in lobby, but there’s a Caribou Coffee shop connected to lobby, sandwich and poke to go restaurants next door.

so very convenient to Mayo Clinic - I never had to go outside to go to my procedure, and since it was negative 17 windchill that was amazing!! decent price for the area. the staff was very friendly and helpful!!

The property seems “tired” … carpets in all hallways are seriously stained, grout on floors is cracked, there appeared to be evidence of water damage in the ceiling of my room from the room above … overall, my room was clean and there were no bugs!!
