Very clean facility. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was decently stocked and suitable to start the day. Staff were friendly and engaging..

Due to the hotel sharing the building with condo units, access is via an intercom to reach the front desk. Once checked in and room key is provided, access is then gained via the room key. Valet parking is available. However, the valet desk is located inside the locked door out of sight of arriving guests. So, if assistance is required for luggage or utilizing the valet service, one had to go searching for the valet. This could have been a one off due to a severe winter storm taking place during our stay. But, if it is typical for the desk to be inside the premises, it seems odd. The pool is well heated and easy to access. However, there is no hot tub which would have been nice after a long day of exploring the city and area.

Clean, modern rooms and an excellent breakfast.

The staff seemed apathetic at best. I arrived at 11:00 pm on the train and couldn't find my way into the building. It was called "Custom House" and it was locked. I was a female, alone, late at night, and rather scared. Finally, a person walked in and I followed. When I got to the desk, which is out of sight of the door, the staff member said, "Oh, yeah, we have to lock up at night." She didn't seem the least bit concerned that I couldn't get in. Throughout my stay, the staff members were talking together or on their cell phones. I didn't seem to matter at all. It was surprising because this was my last accommodation on a 17-day trip, and I had been spoiled by the care of staff members at other motels.

Very hospitable ,extremely friendly and professional staff! It is a non-smoking hotel and the place and room were very clean . The location is perfect for travellers like us who came on the AMTRAK . The hotel is located literally just a minute’s walk from Union Depot and the sidewalk this winter was cleared of snow and easily walkable to the hotel . We managed to ride on the Metro Green Line ( the stop is just outside Union Depot ) and just a minute’s walk to Hyatt …,to many locations in downtown St Paul & Minneapolis and we changed over to the Metro Blue Line to visit the Mall of America .

Would be better if there was a restaurant in the hotel . It wasn’t open when we stayed there

The room was amazing, the bed was super comfy, I loved the high ceilings, the valet parking when I arrived was awesome as well as the front desk guy when I arrived, and the breakfast was organized and you had plenty of spaces where to seat.

The personnel in the morning was nothing like the one during the night when I arrived. They weren’t attentive to you, they barely said “Hi” just because is their job, not because they wanted to do so. The valet in the morning was not enough for all the people that was waiting, he didn’t even greet, and when we asked questions he was not in the best willing to answer them. But the breakfast people were nice and tried their best to have everything on point.

There are the over charge to my credit card without the clear explanation from the hotel. So I have to bet when this over charged can be refund. With the above situation , the staff of Hyatt can not explain or help to remove the concerns.

The level of understanding and unclear explanation which make customer feel inconvenience and trust on the professional way of the hotel management.

Architecture, historic building, great staff, room size, aesthetics. breakfast room was lovely. prompt valet service.

Hot breakfast was rather minimal, eggs did not look like eggs, toaster required 4 attempts to get lightly toasted (even when set on medium high). maps regarding location of ice machine need to be updated. Only if you happened to notice instructions in elevator would know where to find ice. bar was closed, not sure if that was posted in description in Booking.com. Pictures of bar should be removed if not available.

Room was lovely and staff was very kind. Super convenient location to bars/restaurants and Palace theatre where we were seeing a show. Would definitely stay again!

We loved it being a historic building that had been repurposed with a large room and high ceiling.

We had problem with the valet the second day. The car key was not tagged correctly with the stub we were given. We had to look in the cabinet to identify our keys. The street closure was problematic. This closure needs to be disclosed via email or text prior to arrival.

Nice room, layout, furniture and provisions. Breakfast was good. Staff were generally helpful.

Loved the high ceilings, but was unable to shut out the window light at night because the curtain was so high! Worse, this attempt to move the curtain left both my partner and I sneezing from dust. Took care the rest of the stay not to move this curtain!

The cleanliness of the rooms, the large high ceilings allowing a more open space. We really liked the tv channel options (for the kids).

No microwave in room, the pool bromine level was extremely high it caused my children's skin to become raw and red, the lack of inventory in the concession lobby. There was no cook for dinner so we couldn't eat there either.
