The breakfasr was very good. There was a nice variety of food to choose from and the food was very good. I consider the breakfast a very good value. There is a happy hour from 3 to 5 p.m. every day that we did not take advantage of but was an added touch to the stay for those who wanted to partake. Our TV was on the fritz--wasn't working due to several factors--a thunderstorm and a remote that needed new batteries that a young ladiy from the lobby came to fix to our room. We had given up, but she fixed the problem and apologized for the inconenience. All in all,, this is a place I would recommend. Be sure to stay on the 3rd floor if you don't want to be disturbed by barking dogs or kids.

The promise that there wouldn't be barking dogs on the third floor! My husband plus another guest were remarking on this yesterday. We saw the couple with the dog in the cage on the third floor coming down the elevater. What gives with that? Were there not enough rooms? Sonia Main

I can’t say enough about the staff during our visit with La Quinta Springfield. Everyone that we encountered went out of their way at every turn to make our stay more comfortable and more enjoyable. Every question was answered immediately and politely, everything that we needed was provided promptly, everyone was friendly and courteous…the facilities were certainly nice, but the people made the experience excellent and memorable. I would like to give special recognition to a member of the office staff: Alina. We had several interactions with Alina, and each was impressively pleasant and she was always extremely helpful and made us feel special. Thank you again, Alina!

The staff was great, the rooms were very clean, and our room was very quiet! The check in process took less than 3 minutes, so we were able to make it to your rooms quickly! The room was very clean and was not muggy at all. If we ever need to stay in Springfield again, we will be staying here!

I was hoping for a little better breakfast, but with COVID still going on-I understand why.

The staff, which was different every day, probably met 6 people, were all equally friendly, accommodating, and helpful. The room was clean and restocked each day. When I asked for an extra blanket "sometime this evening", it was brought up to my room within 5 minutes along with an extra which was thoughtful. I also really liked having the dispensers so I didn't have to ask for a little bottle of anything

Wasnt a fan of breakfast which isn't a big deal. And the bed wasn't the most comfortable

Upon arrival the gentleman behind the desk, I think his name is Shaquille, was extremely nice. I'd been there one minute and already formed a favorable impression of the facility. My wife is handicapped and I reserved a handicapped accessible room with a roll in shower. That's what our room had. A lot of times I'll reserve a roll in shower but instead the room will have a bath tub, which won't work for my wife. In the shower I liked the little wall mounted shampoo and conditioner dispensers. There were no shelves in the shower which really should of had at least one. Upon checkout I didn't receive a printout of an itemized receipt. I didn't ask for one but I really should of gotten one.

With the shower there was a gap showing between the wall of the shower and the wall of the bathroom. Something was spilled right in front of the door outside our room. It didn't look fresh so I assume it has been there awhile.

The breakfast was good. Decent variety, and there was a little convenience food section if you didn't find anything you liked at breakfast. The bed was comfortable and so were the pillows. The mini fridge was a decent size so we could store sodas and snacks for our stay. The hair dryer they provided wasn't super loud, which is always a plus for me.

The pool was kind of cold. It was an indoor pool and the room was quite warm, but the water was just a little too cold to be comfortable. The bottom of the pool was stained with something, and I could occasionally feel little chips of something on the bottom with my feet. Our room was clean but there were areas where the plaster was cracking in the bathroom. There was a sign letting us know that they were aware of the plaster issues but just didn't have the time to get to it yet. The tub creaked when you stood in it too, which was a little unsettling. I wished there were more hooks in the bathroom as well. There was only one to hang our towels on. We ended up slinging stuff over the curtain rod to dry.

I loved the location and the employees. The room was pretty big and the bed was very comfortable. We were on the third floor and it was quite. The employees were very nice and had lots of knowledge on attractions and best restaurants in the area. The hotel is just minutes from BassPro Shop, the Aquarium, museums, Fantastic Caverns, Fun Acre, etc.

The door to the bathroom will not close, not enough shampoo neither conditioner nor soap. You have to ask the cleaning ladies for more. Also, the swimming pool area must be remodel urgently. There were a few tiles on the floor that felt from a couple of walls. Some children were playing with those. By the way, this hotel should have signs in the swimming area asking for children below 11 or 12 not to be left there without any parent supervision. A couple of kids were pushing their cousin into the pool constantly and she didn't know how to swim. None of the parents were there and the children were 10 and 9. Also, it was incredible hot in that area and there was not air circulation.

Our rooms were very clean and fresh smelling. Housekeeping you did a great job! People had said in their reviews that dogs were constantly barking but we didn’t hear anything like that. The grandkids swam and the pool area was nice. The staff was great!

The only negative I can think of is that there was only 2 tables and chairs in the pool area. Needs a couple more tables with chairs.

Liked the variety of hot and cold foods, muffins and yogurt for breakfast. The check-in and out process was quick and seamless. The spacious bathroom was a pleasant surprise. We liked the selection of vending machines and snacks available at the front store.

Wifi instructions in the room would have been appreciated. Having the soap and shampoo for the bath actually in the bath area would be welcome. A mention that the breakfast area was down the hall instead of in the front lounge area could have saved a minute of hunting in the morning.
