We loved staying at The Lodge. Family of four of which two where teenagers. We love the convenience of being on the mountain and the wonderful views to the mountain. We didn’t want to leave! 5 minute walk to slopes ( without gear). Shuttle ran every half hour if you did not want yo walk. The ski storage room is right at the front door, so you can drop your gear there. A hot drinks stand ( coffee tea hot chocolate) also by the front door so very much appreciated, so nice to have a hot drink when you come in frozen. The spa pools ( two outdoor one indoor ) again perfect for soaking after being out in the cold. Beds where very comfortable plenty of pillows. Small kitchen so we cooked a few meals. Staff where exceptionally friendly and greeted us everyday when we came in. Super nice people

Breakfast quality could be better Kitchen could have more supplies ( we where short on cutlery plates utensils)

Staff was super!

Management needs to improve maintenance. Lots of little things - indoor hot tub not working (outdoor ones were OK) sticky doors, broken cooktop solved by putting a standalone cooktop on top of the built in broken one! These things add up and it hurts the overall experience.

The room, the view, and the location were great. The staff were excellent and helpful and kind. The facility was clean and rooms were incredibly cozy.

Breakfast, while free, was very average. Obviously powdered eggs and soggy sausage. Fine for free, but not necessarily up to par given the price of the stay. All utensils were single-use. The ski storage outside was a bit annoying but that's fairly standard.

The location is very convenient and we liked the ski shuttle as well as LOVED the hot tubs. Good wifi. The building is clean and well maintained and the owners are very personable and lovely people. We really enjoyed the stay and feel that we got value out of the amenities offered. We appreciated the ski locker by the front of the hotel. We also enjoyed the coffee, cocoa and hot water that was available as well as the fruit that was out all day.

There are just a few things that would make the stay better, so these are not necessarily complaints as much as they are suggestions. There could be a 5pm shuttle so that more people can take advantage of the apres ski in town without having to worry about walking back. The latest shuttle is 4:30. I also think that they could offer some cheese, grapes, crackers, after a ski day to sort of provide an added value. Since there is a hot tub available, bath robes would be great to have so that you don't have to change in the bathrooms by the pool. These are just things that could enhance the experience.

Breakfast was great. Eggs and bacon or sausage along with plenty of muffins and yogurt and a pancake maker. Nothing fancy but just right to get ready for a day on the slopes. And the coffee is excellent. Rooms are fine, a little dated, but we had a great view and were very comfortable. The staff is super friendly - very nice and accommodating. Daily shuttle to the mountain is nice but, if you don't want to wait, you can walk to the slopes pretty easily. I also like the free ski storage outside the lobby.

The place is a bit dated and could use a refresh. I do wish they had daily maid service but, like a lot of places, it's only upon request or every 3 days. Minor, but like a lot of hotels, they put a little extra chlorine in their hot tubs which does leave that smell in your bathing suit. I also wish they could open their lobby bar rather then send us to the fridge for beers. Nothing that would stop me from staying here again, however. It was still a great stay with friendly people working there.

The hotel is in a beautiful location. The lobby is gorgeous and staff was very helpful. The room was gigantic and the view of the mountains out the window was a nice bonus. Beds were comfortable. There's a store in the hotel which was convenient.

We were there 2 days before "opening season" so there was no food anywhere close. There was no iron/ironing board which I thought was strange being that it was a higher priced resort hotel. The pillows and blankets had a smell of exhaust on them. I realize we were in Big Sky but it was a little over-priced.

Great customer service! everyone was so friendly and helpful! Shayla at reception stood out with her huge smile and made us feel so welcome throughout our stay! We loved the hot breakfast and shuttle to the lift each morning and coming home to a hot tub and boardgames was a delight!

Although it's not a true ski in/ ski out property, it is close to the lifts - especially with the shuttle.

The staff was friendly and a hot breakfast was provided. We needed extra linens and the staff delivered right to our room. Location is great as it is at the base of the mountain!

My only suggestion is the eggs at breakfast were not "real". Made from powder and extremely soft. Hot breakfast options need improved to mee the overall expectations of the facility.

We arrived very late in the evening and the employee on duty was very gracious. He got us checked in and to our rooms as quickly as possible. The rooms are huge! The location is gorgeous, even though the included breakfast was lacking, the ambience made it enjoyable

Breakfast was fairly lame, eggs and ham had little flavor. There was not many choices.

The location was great, the staff and facility was great. Breakfast included is always a bonus.

Our room, 409 there was the sound of water running from a shower or toilet. (all night) Not sure what it actually was. I almost asked to change rooms however, I did not. There was a gap in one of the ceiling tiles as well. There was no more rooms above us, so I don't actually know what or where the water running noise was. But, that is what it sounded like.
