When we checked in the front desk was very nice. They told us to look out our window or peep hole of door before opening to make sure there were no animals at our door or close. When we were getting out of our car to go into the room there were 6 elk coming into the parking lot. The location of the hotel was great for visiting Yellowstone. The room was large with a full kitchen, Refrigerator and Microwave. The bathroom area was a good size area. We were on the first floor which we liked since we had a large amount of luggage since we were on the road for 13 days. Very quiet Motel/Hotel.

The towels were not very asorbant or maybe they were not totally dried before putting them out for us.

Room was good size. We especially appreciated the kitchenette, including dishware, silverware, a good-size refrigerator, stove, microwave. All the comforts of home. Staff went us down the street to a market where we purchased items to make our own dinners and to pack lunches for our days in Yellowstone. You'll appreciate this room as a couple or as a family or group of friends, if you'd prefer to make your own food rather than going out to expensive restaurants.

Exceeded our expectations. Gardiner is just a few blocks from Yellowstone's North Entrance.

This was the best hotel we have ever stayed at! I would recommend this place to everyone I know. The lady who checked us in & out was super helpful & kind. The room was clean, spacious, and the beds were very comfortable. We especially loved watching the elk everyday, they were in the parking lot & at the hotel sign. My husband also enjoyed sitting outside on the balcony with his binoculars watching the elk on the mountain in front of the hotel.

Loved the location and our room the ones I booked online ,called ahead and ask to add an extra night we were ahead of schedule young girl was a bit rude and the room was horrible cramped we were very worried about our stay but moved rooms the next day and was much better . I was also charged almost twice the amount for the cramped first night if I would have known I would have went else where.

Extremely clean and well maintained. Felt like a new building. Unusually large rooms. Rooms are serviced only on request, but trash bins were clean and thoughtfully placed close to rooms to facilitate tidying. Good lighting. Wide balconies with stupendous views.... Great place to sit and have meals, socialise. Good WiFi. Not dark and claustrophobic like most motels. Quiet part of town. Elk in car park. Responsive staff. Way beyond expectations. Would stay again.

Only complaint is my bath towel was 'squeaky' and not absorbent. Sounds strange I know. I wonder if it was too much fabric softener?

We like the location as it's just outside the North entrance to Yellowstone. It's much less expensive than staying inside the park (which we also did). The rooms are nothing fancy but clean with good beds and we enjoy the big terrace on the upper floors. Lots of power outlets for charging devices. Wifi is a good speed and free.

The towels need replacing as they seemed pretty worn and scratchy.

The owner was very proud of property and took ownership of making sure everything met my needs.

I am in wheelchair. Property had a beautiful shower but it was not for ada access. The bench was for someone to sit not use as ada needs plus the lip on shower prevented Rollin. Beautiful new carpet but it made opening and closing the door virtually impossible. Had major workout getting door open/closed. This is an excellent and comfortable property and you can tell the owners care and are trying hard. I have every belief they will continue to just get better and better. Anyone without ada needs will be very happy with their stay.

The inn was clean and close to restaurants and the market. It was a 10 minute easy walk to most of the restaurants. We had a kitchen in our room that was nicely stocked. With a full size refrigerator. I had a an accidental booking issue which Adam in the office fixed quickly over the phone and basically saved our trip. The front office was great. We were able to check in early stock the refrigerator and head into the park. The inn was quiet at night. We had a great time and will stay again.

Excellent location in town and right outside the entry to Yellowstone NP. Restaurants, bars, grocery and knick knack stores all within an easy walk from your room. Beautiful valley & mountain views right outside your door. All this and exceptional staff who are always willing to help. Add a clean, roomy and comfortable room and why go anywhere else!

There wasn’t anything not to like.

Room was clean and large and very conveniently located to the Yellowstone entrance. Property was beautiful and the beds were comfortable. Housekeeping is "by request only" which was just fine with us!

Three coffee drinkers and we got enough coffee for just two days of our week-long stay. Didn't mind going to the office to get more, but staff was rather reluctant to give out more. It was weird enough to mention it here, but maybe the person was just having a bad day.
